That is really nice. I love the compression release to start it. I drove a sixty three Pete with 335 that had that.

Amazing rig! Very original and well kept. Congrats also for the outstanding gear lever swing. The NTC pumps out music to my ears. Thanks for sharing. Cheers from Brazil.

Drove/restored a 1964 Pete, same engine. That sound is so familiar. Kept breaking old Spicer 5 spd SC main box, it didn't like 335 power pulling 80k belly dumps up hills all day. Put Eaton 10 spd in front of the 4 spd aux . Could take off on any hill with any load, yet top end was faster than I dared to push, 90mph or so. Could sometimes sneak up on 350s with the gear combos. Odd trans combo turned out really fun and gear spread with 40 possible combinations was amazing. Usually just drove it as a 10, using the 4 spd as a deep reduction like a primitive 15 speed. Sold to a guy who somehow jackknifed it and had to see my restored blue classic in a junkyard. Really sad.

Oh yes, that's a real swell truck you have there. Lots off options. Even has the "rocka hula baby" dancing on the dash. Can't go wrong there, whole lotta shakin going on.

one of the smoother ones I have seen on you tube although I still would like to see someone grossing 70,000 pulling a 6 percent grade split the gears going down without skipping a gear, that my friend requires 2 hands and perfect timing

I believe I saw you live in Washington? If so I’m curious how did you register the truck without having to pay tonnage and all that jazz. Looked like a collector vehicle plate? Also do you have a cdl to drive that privately?
