1965 Ford Mustang Onboard Donington Park

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

First time driving the Ford Mustang with Alex Brundle in Masters Pre-66 Touring Cars. Onboard lap from mid race chasing Craig Davies in his Mustang.
Learning on the fly with very little previous seat time - need to hang the car out a bit more rather than being smooth, but enjoying myself massively!

Awesome footage again Abbie, awesome watching your footwork and trying to tame the twitchy beast around the track

Abbie, please be careful racing one of those. I have restored one myself and they will fold up like a Coke can in a wreck. That said, looks like a riot! Would be a blast!

@@KZreaddotcomma If it has a tubular frame added in place of the original frame rails all the way to the front of the car awesome. The stock front frame rails align with your legs with only the sheet metal floor preventing it from becoming one with you in a frontal wreck. Cages are great for rolls and side impact if it wraps around the side. Frontal impacts are specifically what I was thinking about though.

People race these poor handling American things to live life on the edge and have a ball. I never used to understand it but lots of power and useless chassis means lots of fun
