...as with so many classic car dealers...most of your viewers know far more than you obviously do...why don't you research the particular options/history/ owner history...I learned absolutely nothing from your presentation... ...as a result, I'd be reluctant to buy a used lawn mower from you...all you are is a talking head with nothing to contribute other than the sound of your voice...pretty pathetic, actually...

Man, when I was a kid in the seventies, those 1964-'65 Imperials were some of my favorite cars. They took the clean lines of the Lincolns of the 1960s and just very slightly improved on them. Beautiful vehicles.

Wow. I'm a car guy, but I had no idea there were power locks and power trunk release in the 60s. I thought those were 70s inventions. Anyway, what a gorgeous car. My parents had a `67 when I was a kid, but it was the Sedan model, which had full door frames.

This is actually a 1964 Imperial Crown. Imperial was it's own marque. Just like Ford made Mercury, Chrysler made Imperial its own line. So saying Chrysler Crown Imperial would be the equivalent of saying Ford Marquis Mercury.

3:18 If you pull the eagle's wings toward you, the eagle folds down to expose the gas tank filler spout. My parents owned a '64 Imperial LeBaron model, same color of beige. I got my first speeding ticket in this car at age 16. I was traveling at 157 m.p.h. according to the state police who pulled me over, and I was still gaining on him. They took away my license for half a year so I had to return to bumming rides from friends, riding my bike and walking. Bummer !!

Dear Tucson Classic Motor Co, you missed the transmission selector pushbutton system of this superb Imperial, located at the far left of the dashboard, hidden behind the steering wheel! 1964 was the last year for pushbuttons! From 1965 on, after new governmental federal regulation for safety standards, the traditional shift lever - linked to the steering column - returned to all Chrysler products after a 10-year gap (1955-1964).

@@aarongranda7825 For Imperials (specifically), the 413 ended with the 1965 model year; the 440 started in 1966. The 440 was available on non-Imperials in 1965. I own currently a 1964 Imperial Crown similar to this one (even the same exterior color), but mine is nowhere near that condition (149,000 miles), although it runs fine.

Just to clarify, it is no more a Chrysler Imperial than there are Chrysler Dodge or Chrysler Plymouth cars. Imperial was a separate make starting in 1955 so this is an Imperial Crown, not a Chrysler Imperial Crown, the Crown 4-door hardtop being the entry level car for the year. The Crown 4-door, contrary to what one comment said, did not have power vents unless ordered as they were not standard on all models. Even my former higher end Crown Coupe did not have power vents and A/C was also optional although a second rear A/C was an additional option not offered at all by Cadillac except for the Fleetwood 75 long wheelbase cars. That said, they are indeed nearly indestructible. I have had many Imperials and still have both a 1965 Imperial LeBaron and a 1965 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special and there is no comparison. Where Cadillac went into gadgets, Imperial went into high quality. Once I lifted the rear up high on a 1964 Imperial Crown Limousine by it's rear bumper using an engine lift to get it up for the replacement of the mufflers and the following weekend tried the same with a Cadillac. On the Cadillac (even though it was shorter and lighter), the bumper went up but the car did not! It was that flimsy.
