We have a brand-new project rolling into the shop this week! This 1963 International Harvester Travelall is getting the full Salvage to Savage treatment. We're ripping out that old rusty inline six and hacking away at all the rusted-out panels to give the cab a bit more structure. We're also doing some repair to the fire wall to make sure we're ready to start dropping in the 6.0 LS for this burnout machine! We also have some other awesome plans for this ride; like an airlift suspension and a Restomod AC! So make sure to subscribe so you don't miss out on this build!

Back in the 80’s had a buddy owned a travel-all it had that old 6 and the carb just sputtered and spit. So instead of fixing the carb we put our money together and got a personalized license plate SURGE we went everywhere in that thing!✌️

Hey guys! I bought a cnc plasma table about 6 months ago with no cad/cam experience. I have a few piece of advice that worked for me, fusion 360 has sooo many features it can be overwhelming to start out, I use Shapr 3D on my iPad and can sketch with the pencil, I can create anything on there and then send it to fusion 360 simply to convert to a cut file…. Simplified my life. If you have any questions feel free to reach out! Edit: also my favorite part of shapr is the ability to take a small bracket iv made out of cardboard, put a ruler next to it, take a picture, import the picture and easily scale it using the ruler in the picture. no exaggeration from cardboard cutout to metal part in my hand in under 20 minutes

My air manifold is on its way back to them again for the 2nd time in less then a year and still has less then 100 miles on it. Their custom service has gotten so bad that a couple of the companies that do air ride kits have completely quit selling their products. Even worse when I sent them my manifold # they tried to tell me it wasn't their part.

Reason I went with airlift and also reason I bought a 3s manifold rather then upgraded more was bc they advertised rise on start which it didn't have. But it's all good just got get n there ass a bit now to get good customer service

So what happens to the backside of a panel patch where the weld is? The exposed side gets worked and painted to keep it from rusting but what happens to the back?

When you go to join the group tell them you have a 63 or 64 Travelall. IH titled them the years they sold them which is why it says 66. As soon as you join a group every IH guy gets off on correcting people who post 😂😅. Cool Travelall, check mine out if y’all get bored 👊🏻

You can put an LS into just about anywhere it can fit. We've put them in lifted trucks and small drift cars. Power to weight ratio, of course, will be different.

@@SalvagetoSavage I had an LS conversion in mind for my sons Mitsubishi Eclipse and a shop i ran the mod past was like. This cars around 3000 lbs bla bla bla. Id never heard about any weight limit. Like the eclipse could possibly be much heavier then an Suv. Thanks for the info, nice project that Travelall I had a 67 with a 304. Ran real nice. Can't wait to see yours finished. I think, true story they were just afraid of the mod. Guess we will do the mod ourselves.
