1963 Dodge D100 225ci Slant 6 4-Speed Nice Paint Restored 63-6832C
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Welcome to Street Dreams in Texas as we celebrate our 24th year in the classic and muscle car business. We are always happy to present you with another dreamy classic truck. This 1963 Dodge D100 has a 225ci Slant 6 with a manual 4-speed transmission. The truck has been nicely restored to it's original condition. The color combo is pretty cool on this classic truck. The lines and accents on the classic Dodge vehicles always look so cool and unique. There is lots of room in the engine bay of this classic truck. You could put a big engine in it, or you can easily work on the engine in it. The fender wells are big enough to sit your tools or even to sit on while you are working. In The 60'S these were the best work trucks $ could buy.... They had the best htr's in the world. ''Slow" but steady !

When I was photographing it I was thinking it would be pretty cool to do some modifications to these style trucks. Needs lower stance. You can buy this one if you don't already have a good candidate. :)

Nice, CLEAN, SIMPLE truck. Is the four-speed original? If so, not the New Process A833, I take it. Does it have a "Granny" first gear? I also like the YELLOW engine and transmission paint, is that an original color as well? This D100 is what a truck is SUPPOSED to be, not a $125K "Cowboy Cadillac". Although one COULD drop a B-block into that engine bay, if you just HAD to have a V8, the 318 "Poly", even with just that Stromberg two-barrel, was more than enough, and as "wide" as the Poly appears to be (the block is the same as the later "LA" engines), there's still enough room to almost stand in that engine bay to work on the mill.

Yes, original 4-speed with a granny 1st gear. It is a P290 3.91 rear gear axle. The slant 6 is stated to have came in that yellow 62-69. Yes, this vehicle has some potential to be restored in multiple ways now days. As the days go by the younger generations see something old and like the looks, but are so used to the modern luxuries. That they restomod it to make it more comfortable for them. So to each their own. We as a dealership are happy the love for the classics is continuing to live.
It looks like the short bed and longbed versions had the same wheelbase. 🤔
