For a downsized body, they were pretty roomy.

There you have it, folks. The first true muscle car. Mid-size car, 4" shorter than 64 GTO with considerably more muscle!

@STARSHIPTROOP The top GTO engine in 64 put out 348 horsepower. The Royal Bobcat dealer installed (not factory) kit added an additional 30-50hp. Below the 410-420hp the Max Wedge put out in 1962, depending on compression ratio. Sorry.
