What a time to have been alive. You who lived it are lucky.
A delicious feast for the eyes, and the soundtrack was every bit as delectable. Milady was gowned in a shade to match her elegant chariot, of course. All of these images were sumptuous!

I had a 65 De Ville convertible, but I was too young in 1980 to know how to maintain and/or restore a vintage car. Still have fun memories of that car though.

I had a 65 Calais, black, black white interior, low miles original owner. I loved that car.
I have often wondered how much was invested in making the various versions of the "V and Crest" in those Cadillac ads...and never the same interpretation twice!
Another great video of wonderful Cadillacs. My favourite would have to be a '60 Eldorado Brougham.

Reminds me of the 1/24 Monogram 59 Pink Eldorado Convertible model kit I built a few weeks back!!
Unbelievable how the big-finned 1959s lost their value so soon when the sleeker models came out.
The 60's were Cadillac at their zenith! Exterior styling was at it's best in 63/64 in my opinion. Never liked the "skegs" of the 61/62 models. Liked the 67 restyle but the dash was terribly cheap looking with the plastic and faux wood compared to earlier years.
