@AMP_316 yeah. I wonder if new Cinema Snobs will be posted here from now on and Brad just posts his new movie reviews on his own channel.
Snob is the one I’d trust to do these in depth year reviews. For those that haven’t seen them, the ones for 1980-82 are really good.
I love these decade covering long form videos, so much cinema history with the ever so loveable Cinema Snob himself!!

2019 in film is probably the peak, since it's going to be a while before the film industry goes back to pre Covid levels depending on if you count streaming service movies or not (which really is the same as made for TV movies used to be treated).

@@musicalhistory4392 Not to mention direct to video movies.
Your Year in Review videos really feel like a college lecture in film history. I mean that in the best possible way!
Psycho, Magnificent Seven and The Apartment are my favourite films of 1960! It's great to see the Snob post directly to Channel Awesome, instead of his own channel.
This and Tarantino's new book are two of the coolest showcases for classic movies I've seen recently. Keep these up, Brad, they're always so much fun.
I loved these in depth series that Brad has done. Always interesting to dive through movie history
I wasn't expecting this but I'm open to any video from the Cinema snob as it is still fun to watch 👍❤️
Obviously really enjoy all of your videos, but the ones where you review and comment on the years in review are pretty damn spectacular.
"This is thrown into the Disney vault to contain the evil!" That one really got me!😆
The Channel Awesone jingle at the end was a surprise.. I really thought I was on Brad's channel. Now I realize that Brad's content shines anywhere.
Psycho is my favorite 1960 movie
Lloyd cameos: 1:43:13, 1:45:59
Missed you Brad it's been a long couple of weeks glad your back in time for Christmas
I really like this video! Brad’s long form content is always great. It was a good mix of interesting facts with good humor. I’d love to see another video like this.
Can't wait for 1970 in film
So glad you can go backwards. That means there's at least a chance for 1979!
Now all I wanna see is Hitchcock giving a tour of every movie set ever made.

Finally! The Cinema Snob is back with an over 2-hour episode! Thank you very much! 😃
This was great. Thanks for taking the time to put it together.
Nice to see Snob get some love on the main CA!
I actually caught "Heller in Pink Tights" on a late-night movie channel back 80s-wise. Freaking epic production with more damn costumes than I'd ever seen at once, pitchforked onto the actors almost faster than they can change.ridiculously over the top, but entertaining.
This has been the best thing I've watched online in the past 6 months or so. Good work Brad.
Looks like I've got the rest of my night planned out!
I've known of the Cinema Snob for years, I remember only kind of liking the show... Now, I'm binging past episodes like it was my favorite KZread channel. This show has been at it a long time now, and I feel like what it was, was that I was still pretty young when I first watched anything, and now I'm grown up, and can handle a video longer than 5 minutes. Glory day, I suppose!
I actually introduced my parents, who grew up in the '50s and '60s, and my Dad likes westerns, to The Magnificent Seven. I was home visiting, and on the western channel, we watched Gunsmoke. After Gunsmoke, The Magnificent Seven started showing, and I told Dad to leave it there, that this is a good movie. He had never seen it, and he thoroughly enjoyed it.
Two years in film in one year? Christmas did come early! Though I did do a double take seeing this in channel awesome instead of stoned gremlin, but I'm not complaining!
Was not expecting you to reference the Springsteen song Murder Incorporated! Nice!
YESSSSSSSS!!!!!! I'm so happy we're getting more of these!!!
Portrait In Black was also Anna May Wong's final movie. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
1960 is definitely up there as one of cinema’s finest years for film. Psycho easily being the pinnacle of horror (Peeping Tom does deserve its due preceding that film)
I love so many movies from this year-the Apartment, Midnight Lace, Psycho, and Portrait in Black-and I got introduced to plenty as usual. Thanks, Brad!
What a wonderful surprise! Thank you for another awesome year in movies! These are always so fun and interesting. I end up writing a bunch down and looking them up so that I can watch ones I haven't seen.💖
You talk about these films as if you were actually there to see them in theaters. Your passion for film as a medium of art really shines in these long-form videos. I hope to see a video on almost every year!
I love that William Shatner and France Nuyen did something together before she guest starred in an episode of "Star Trek".
Love the content and channel! Keep up the awesome work!
Wow, this was so good, great job packing in the jokes and info in such a rapid fire way. Truly this is Cinema Snob like you've never seen him before.
I have found dozens of great movies to watch from Brad`s 1980-1982 reviews.
thank you for always including lloyd in these! love seeing your comedy on these great old movies!
Well I've seen his year ones so see him do same with a decade further back seems pretty good to watch lol 😎🤟

This is AWESOME! Love Cinema Snob and love the year in movies! Keep them coming!! Thanks.
Psycho and Eyes Without a Face are my favorites!😶
I honestly think Brad and Doug work off eachother really well I hope they actually enjoy working with the other so we can enjoy future content together
Guess I’ll call 1960 the year of infidelity from now on
The original Little Shop of Horrors was actually fully shot in two days, interiors and exteriors, they actually had about two weeks, but the director shot it through the night to fulfill a bet,the script was already written but had to be cut up to fulfill the time cutdown, which is also the reason why the move just barely crests 1hr 10mins
Different channel, but same Snob. Love these videos!
I love these reviews of the year in film. Great job snob!
These year in film videos are my favorite thing Brad does ❤
D…does this mean I can expect… like, a retrospective video like this on basically every year of the second part of the 20th century, Brad ?! Come on, man, I need to be able to plan my fix 😨, please say yes ! I wanna overdose on this stuff !
I honestly want to see you go back even further and do every year that we have previews for.
Here and not SGP?? NO PROBLEM, I'll take Snob episodes wherever I can get them!!
Brad, a suggestion for a video: A Cinema Snob retrospective of the CARRY ON movies, were you review each movie in the legendary uk comedy franchise

Surprised to see Snob here but very happy about it!
I would absolutely love to see more cinema snob
I always remember Exodus mostly from the fact that on the 1950s Price Is Right, one of the prices was a role in Exodus and a vacation in Israel and the contestant actually won it. I can't remember which episode it was but it's on the Best Of Price Is Right DVD release.
As a child I had a huge Paul Newman crush so I watch From the Terrace like 20 times
Finally a reference to the Germs and Crusing.
Great job on the video!
Amazing. Thank you.
This was great. I definitely want more.
keep these up, i love this kind of timetravel hehe
Your channel is the best
Psycho may be one of the most ground-breaking films of the entire 60’s. With modern horror as we know it; we can definitely credit the shocking films of the 70’s (Texas Chainsaw, Exorcist, Jaws….) and the slasher films of the 80’s (Friday the 13th, Nightmare Elm Street….) But it was the beginning and near end of the 60’s (from Psycho to Night of the Living Dead) that I feel really broke the mold for modern horror!
Thanks Snob! Legs Diamond and Comanche Station are both directed by the great Budd Boetticher, and are great! In fact, Comanche Station has one of my favorite endings of any Western.
"He introduced the world to the Twist, which means he was dead the whole time" Brad, I've been watching you for over a decade, and I think that's the most clever joke you've ever written.
Why isn’t this on the Stone Gremlin Productions KZread Channel?
My unhealthy obsession with the 60's finally being enabled by the Cinema Snob.
3:45= "Is he rich? Does he have a gun? Does he have blue-balls?" These are the 3 things I ask about any guy I meet on Grindr LOL
Your videos are excellent for my research. My deep dive into "The Devil's Rain" is very interesting.

Aw. I wish I had the spare time to lose myself in your content 😕. The bits I have watched are so professional and fascinating. Your 80s related shows are right up my street. Im going to have to do some time management somehow. Give up sleep for a couple of days, maybe. Anyway, good work, sir. 5/5.
Wow this was unexpected
Do reviews in other years that were a tentpole in cinema history. Maybe 1967. Or 1946. Or heck, why not go all the way back to 1939?
truly a mazing thumbnail
Channel awesome knows how much I love them, but now they get brad doing a 2 hour video? Talking about old movies? Someone call Wilkins coffee I must be dreaming!
Why not is on Cinema Snob's own KZread channel?
I love this series no matter the year
Was wondering what happened to snob. Interesting to see brad doing stuff for this channel
HITCHCOCK created Serial Killers? The earliest appearance of that topic in films was the Portugese movie "The Crimes Of Diogo Alves," made in 1909. "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" technically was about serial murder, although that murderer was being controlled by another. The major one is Fritz Lang's "M," which I still consider one of the very best films about a serial killer ever made. That was way back in 1931--one of the early talkies in the country, and the first film appearance of the timeless Peter Lorre. Interestingly, Lang wrote the part with Lorre in mind; he never even auditioned for the role. Don't know if that's flattering or Peter Lorre-level creepy.
Would have caught this a lot sooner had this come out on Stoned Gremlin Productions(Brad's Channel!!)
I love these!!
Wholly unexpected but totally excited. I can’t wait until we get a 90s series. EDIT: only now realizing this was on CA and not Brad’s channel. 👀

Once your life returns to some level of normalcy. ;) Take care.
Cinema snob... 1960... 2 hrs... *stabbing myself in*... let's role
that twist joke got me so freaking hard. "He was dead the whole time!"
*Swiss Family Robinson* became so popular for Disney that Walt included the treehouse in his Disneyland park.
Hey, it's Brad the Cinema Snob. I haven't seen him in years, where the hell have I been?
The Apartment.
I would have gone with a live and let die reference rather than a dr. No reference myself, since live and let die is actually kind of about voodoo
Fun Fact: 1:56 Jerry Lewis sprints runs up those stairs. That's in the movie and, this really happened, he did that in ONE TAKE, runs off screen, and collapsed because he had a heart attack!
Debra Winger...sigh. Women like her made me question my homosexuality! Same with Karen Allen, and Nancy Allen. So beautiful. Pandemonium is one of my favorite all-time movies. I was a kid who loved national lampoon mad magazine and anything else absurd that I was too young to read. The video tape was rare. Even for me who worked at a video store in my 20's. I searched for a couple decades. There was one copy on Amazon for an outrageous amount of money. Then it showed up one day on Epix in HD! It still wouldn't have a proper release until Vin Sin would give us a Blu-ray. Today it is here on KZread. Say what you want about the movie, but you will have to admit that animatronic horse was really impressive.
Holy shit, 13 Ghosts is a reboot?!?
