Wow what a color combination on this Sleek 1960 Chevy Impala two door hardtop!. This Bubble top was restored nearly 15 years ago and still looks great today. It was painted in a silver with a beautiful red and white stock interior. The previous owner purchased this car 20 years ago and it took between 5-7 years to make this beauty what it is today. Its floors, frame, and trunk floor were all painted and detailed. Its engine bay also looks nice with its D code original 283 4bb V8 engine, power steering, and is backed up by a 2 speed automatic transmission. It comes equipped with dual exhaust, dual mirrors, dual antennas, sirus radio, am fm digital radio, and is riding on a beautiful set of Coy chrome 20's on the rear and 18's on the front. Its exterior paint still looks great for a local show quality car and is a real head turner. Its original bench seat interior looks absolutely fantastic. But best of all is how smooth this impala rolls down the road. If you are looking for a super sleek head turning Impala this is it.

I spent my childhood working with my Dad on his 1960 2 door impala. It was a 3 speed on the column, we put bucket seats and a center console in it from a Ford Thunderbird. All of that was done in the 1970's. I'm currently trying to find the car. My dad passed away about 5 years ago, and so far, no luck. It was awesome riding in that car, everyone in town knew my dad and the car was a standout. He had it painted Roman Red with red diamond pleat leather interior. Hope I find it soon and get it back in my family. This car you guys are showing is beautiful! Wish me luck!
My grandfather had the exact same car in 61.but stock white wall bias ply tires w/wheel cover.love that dash & steering wheel.it's got a good fumble to it also .very sweet.

Well, looks like I have a new favorite car at Coyote. The old school Impalas are one my favorites, 60 is an iconic year and cortez silver with the red interior is one of my favorite color combinations from GM. Not a fan of the painted drums, but none the less, gorgeous car. ;)

Would paint the brake drums cast gray and install some Cragar S/S wheels (can not stand big inch wheels and tires), otherwise the car is perfect, my biggest problem would be to find a garage big enough to fit it in!

She's a Bute Clark. Sitting way to high off the ground. it needs to be lowered. Too much red in the interior too. But I still would buy it.
That's a gorgeous car. The bubble top was strictly for 61 though.

Chevy's "Bubble tops" (Technically Chevy named them "Sport Coupes") were available models on 1961 Impalas & Belairs & 1962 Belairs (only).

Chevy's "Bubble Tops" (2 door Sport Coupes) were on the line-up for the 1961 Impala, Belair & the 1962 Belair.
Awesome car Chevy forever my friend has an Impala less than a hundred thousand miles for $3,500 interior exterior pretty good shape the car doesn't need painting I'll bug him about find me a car you found it kept it for self but Imma get the car I miss my Chevelle 69 was a great year

i mean the car is soo pretty. IMO the wheels are too big look like 20's 18's would be better even 16's if you could drop the car about 5 or 6 inches. . love the AM mags those are right. It just sits too high for me. she's a heartbreaker for sure. maybe a highboy is the way to go with this car. But she's not a drag car so put her down on the street where she belongs. Lance Manyon I agree with you!!! Who cares what these other guys say because it’s not their preference. I’ve seen the same wheels just smaller on other classics and people think the car is beautiful. So who cares what these car enthusiasts or muscle car guys think. That’s what custom means personalize for the customer. I know the history of cars but that don’t mean I can’t change history of my car .
