fun guy!, Norm has a great crew.
Thumpin’ Thursday is extra funky this week. Love it!
The Funk is strong with this one
Love it! A classic P played how it was meant to be played! Now I want to get my '59 P out and throw some funky licks down! Thanks for the inspiration, Clark! 🙏🏻
Don't you know I'm all about that bass about that bass no tremble
Clark that funk style of yours is Funky ❤ love it so lively 🎸🎸🎸
Clark is awesome. Love these bass episodes now.
Awesome! He looks so comfortable playing and like he’s having fun. Great GOTD!
57 the year of the two tone strat 58 precision with adonised gold guard, the sheer tone of that bass is in that it has the beautiful clarity of the strats. I always thought Leo cracked the two models at the same time. To carve out the fender sound that flourished in the reverb tanks of the amps. Leo's genius was cos he designed them in parallel, they were engineered to accentuate the strengths of each other. But also thereby stood up in their own rights used individually. Gibson lucked out on an evolution of one fender amp, and Leo's genius was so great he created the peanut butter to his rivals jelly the Marshall for the paf. But Leo was that type of guy he was so methodically innovative only he could compete with himself. The pillars of a new rock and roll evolving from the hidden taboo American culture of the blues. That is the world this guitar was born into. A great time of social change. Also this man can play the bass not to forget appropriate credit...the Cat (Channel - solo guitar/dj ing)...
Great guy. His nervousness was endearing. He knows his stuff and can play!
Wow...just wow 👌🏼
As always some great bass playing. Keep it up,the groove P Bass. Perfect place to film a video, right in front of a wall of some great bass guitars.
A mega-tasty Thumpin' Thursday! And a P from my birth year. What's in my piggy bank?
Brother, as soon as you picked up that axe, the blues started to ooze, and the funk started to flow. 👍👍👍
What a fantastic video clark and jen
Damn that’s good! Like jellybread
Great to have some serious funk on thumpin' Thursday!
Killer playing man, love that bass!
Damn this dude is awesome. His playing is sick too
Sweet!!!
Man, I'd love to have this!!
Amazing playing 🤟
this is killin
Clark the man, thanks for this demo
YES
like the bass
Its funny how relic haters claim that Custom shop guitars are over-done, but here is the real deal looking really worn just like the Custom shop does. Love it!
U go 😮u Rock the p bass Mr Clark Sims
Nice ❗️
1958 the year of my birth 😮
gawwwwd dammmmm!
I hate “reliced” instruments, but I get the appeal. Nothing can beat that worn in look and feel of a great vintage instrument that’s seen some history.
How do you guys not go broke working there? I'd be living in a cardboard box on Skid Row with like 10 vintage Fenders or Gibsons...

I'm going to tell you a Secret. Doesn't necessarily have to be vintage to own 30 sweet guitars cuz I got a boat load some vintage some not
If I could be just 10% as cool as Clark I’d have it made.
Loved "For the Love of Money". Greatest bass line ever, and you did a great job on it!
nothing sings and pops like a p-bass!!!! Love it!!
👌
Dig it.
New Jack City, money money money money money!!!
👍
He didn’t mention the raised A string pole piece! 😂😊
Why do these beautiful rare and vintage basses of the 50s have roundwood strings on them. Rather than period correct flatwound strings ?
What happened to Greg?
Clark Sims ripping it up on that Precision Bass, I got to wonder if he was ever the house player for Motown after the passing of James Jamerson.
is greg back any time soon?
thing has some serious t h u m p if I'm ever heard it
Guy can really play but I hate that clanging style of bass playing
