Your truck has the mount for the spare wheel carrying frame in front of the drivers door, it latches on the pin at the rear of the door and has to be swung open before the door can be opened. It was only the early M37 that had the spare mounted in the bed on the right hand side behind the cab and the bench seat was shorter to give the space for the spare. Nice truck, I have just bought an ex Spanish military one, a Feb. 1952 model, it has the bed mounted spare.
