Frank Nelson was always excellent in Jack's radio and TV shows. Thanks for posting this.
LOL. Been a Jack Benny fan for 60 years. This is good.
I like that they included the lyrics to the song in this sketch.
The kind of humor I grew up with. Laughed the whole time!
I'm old enough to remember this on the radio, and young enough to know the 1990 version. This had me laughing out loud at 2 in the morning! Thanks for posting. ❤
This was inspired. Great stuff.
This is so flipping funny. Thanks!
Frank Nelson was the inspiration for the "Yes Guy" on the Simpsons.
I love Frank!
That's hilarious 😂
Love it

I think years later Frank Nelson was remembering this routine in a radio interview and he said it was a total dud. Admittedly the audience seems to be more respectful of it than laughing out loud like they did the first time they did this routine with "Tennessee Waltz".
Why did constantinople get the works

Back when comedy was funnny and not just out to run people down or be gratuitously profane. ... They don't make 'em like Jack and his like anymore, that's forr sure.
