I want to live in 1954 forever.

Walter P is adorable and Paul is a handsome young man. Film quality and camera work excellent. I wasn't born until 1957, but my Mom said the 50s were the best , happiest decade of her life.

Everybody dressed up and looked so elegant.

Beautiful. This was my Mom's era.

I started watching the other videos in this series and love them. Since there's no sound, maybe someone skilled at lip reading can reconstruct the conversations in this for even more flavor. Thanks for sharing these fantastic glimpses into history.

I am beginning to add narrations to some of the movies but as they were filmed some of the conversations were probably best unheard.. LOL ... Finding a proficient lip reader would be very expensive

Ah 1954, my Dad was 2 years old and my Mom was 7 months old during this Christmas 🎄

How incredibly natural colours are! High quality film in middle 50s! And, as result, best contribution to family memories!

Got to love good old-fashioned Kodachrome!

I was born in late 1956. I wish my parents had a movie camera when l was a kid. My uncle had one but no one knows what happened to the films.

So cool...I was born October 25th 1954...I would have been exactly 2 months old...

Looks like everyone is uncertain on how to operate the pump top. Don't feed the candy cane to the dog - he will be racing around like a slot car!

Very funny! But I do seem to remember he ate one or two but the strange thing was he really loved pistachios and would open the shells himself

I hope this cool house is still in the family, I was born in 1962, would give up all I have to go back!!!

I wonder what Paul did during his life. Something always has his interest in these videos. I imagine him as an electrician or working in a lab or an architect. Lol...making up my own stories 🤣
