I absolutely love seeing all the pictures of all the actors of Hollywood and the fragrances that they wore and some of the fragrances I wear which my mother loved. Liar de Temps, Shalimar, Tabu and Windsong.

My moms altime favorite perfume was shalimar. She would wear it on social occasions or when they went to friends for dinner. I loved smelling the air in their room when she left. Thank you for bringing back that precious memory♥️

I have been wearing Lair Du Temps since high school in the 70's and I still wear it. It is my signature scent.

I love Fidgi by Guy LaRoch. Little more spicy than L'air du Temps but just as soft.

Beautifull nostalgic perfume memorabilia. Most of the perfumes are included in my perfume collection.. I think it would be interesting with a video of Mens fragrances from that time.

You are do right Laura Jane~ Post WWII Ladies were in a new era ~ being a lady again was a new era far away into time of peace ~ L'Air Du Temps is so iconic ~ Tempting to touch the birds on top of the stopper ~ that scent is still sold in some department stores ~ Femme de Rochas{pr. Rosha} is so different from the others ~ perched on grandmothers dressers enticing to very young little ladies to 'test'. I did very carefully 'try' breathe that fragrance ~ strong & I equated it with 'rich' elegant cars movie stars ~ This is so much a wonderful spotlight on fragrance & carries thoughts far away from the news which is so negative ~ Givenchy is still so beautiful ~. Me too. Youth Dew by Estee Lauder was my grandmother's favorite scent, and it stayed on her all day. That is one of my favorite scents along with Coco Mademoiselle Chanel. Beautiful scents 😍😍😍😍😍

Estee Lauder Youth Dew has always been my favorite. I used to wear Lu Air de Temps.

My favourite ever is L'Interdit, and I knew it exactly because Audrey Hepburn is my favourite classic actress. The scent is quite different from the original, but still great.

I used to love L'Interdit back in the 80's but like many great perfumes, they have been reformulated and it just isn't the same anymore, or also likely, my scent preferences have changed too but I really wish I had a vintage bottle of L'Interdit today.

Miss Dior was created and launched in 1947 by Christian Dior for his sister Jacqueline. It was a green chypre which coincided with his New Look fashion show of the same year.

Nina riccis perfume reminds me of a sunny day growing up in the early 90s, my mom wore that a lot. It was a simple time lol

Blonde was my favorite perfume of all times!

Love Youth Dew by Estée Lauder especially the vintage stuff. It was Janet Leigh's favorite scent as well. Amber, spice and woods but it's somehow clean at the same time.

My 3rd grade teacher wore this every day to school! I went to a small private school and one day she brought in the bottle for the girls to try it, after us begging her for weeks. We all loved it and felt so sophisticated! Every time I pass an Estee Lauder counter I think of her!

It's so funny... I've been wearing vintage & vintage inspired clothing for quite some time now, but realised only recently that my fragrance taste either IS vintage or also vintage inspired. L'air du Temps was my mother's signature scent for ages. I tended to put on a puppy dog eye look and asked if I could wear it and her Dior J'adore. And Audrey H can kiss my New Look clad behind😆: L'interdit ( & the Rouge) is one of my favourites! Youth-Dew is a scent I'd love to test. Hopefully I can find someone willing to send me a decant or find a sample of it somewhere. At the moment I'm wearing Oscar de La Renta's remake of the 77 perfume 'Oscar'. To some it is almost a copy of the vintage Guerlain's L'Heure Bleue, to me it smells almost exactly the same as Chanel n°5, which is unfortunate because that is one of the few Chanel fragrances my skin doesn't want to work with. What happens with nr 5 happens with Oscar: I get a topnote and then only powder, powder, powder mixed with that typical airport perfume store scent... before it dies an early death. Such a shame! On paper it looked amazing... Let's hope I can get my hands on some other great (performing) vintage/ vintage inspired perfumes. I at least have the wonderful background now❤️.

Oh yessss I love Red Door, was one of my first loves! But it is such a powerhouse of a fragrance with amazing projection and longevity! U have to wear that one with caution cuz people will be on u! lol😆 About two years ago, I decided to try Red Door Revealed, and fell in love again! That one has become my fave even over the original RD! I got a ton of compliments at work when I wore it. People kept saying: "Someone smells so good"! 🥰🥰🥰

Wow! Interestingly, but not too surprising, that perfumes designed for Hollywood legends that were Women of Color were done so with “prostitute”or “whore” in mind. But nevertheless I’m glad you included them. I learned something I didn’t know and I’m interested in acquiring the scents made for them.
