Nicest restored bike I’ve ridden. Absolutely stunning and rides as good as it looks. Not currently for sale unless you really want to lay your nuts on the table. This is as good as it gets.

This is not just a motorcycle, it is a piece of art!
Amazing. Even being on a video, as soon as you turned that engine over it was painfully obvious how healthy it is. Has to be one of the best sounding pans I've heard.
I just came here to see how wolverine's favorite bike looked like

I always thought that the biggest fantasy in that movie was what he was able to with that panhead. I can barely get my 1962 to 65mph haha

I have guns like this. We don't own these things. We are curators that have been blessed with the responsibility of keeping them. Outf*ckingstanding. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
You are one extremely lucky man to have such a beautiful bike. Sounds great. The color is perfect! Really like the nod to Benmy with the rear mud flap. That one is definitely a keeper. NEVER sell it and thank you for sharing.
What a beautiful bike. I ride a Norton Commando myself, but I am looking to get a Panhead some day to add to my garage.
Nicest 48 I've seen! Digging the Cadi too! Oh, and I hope the old man is back to his old self.
What a beautiful bike. Good stuff my friend!
What a great motorcycle. I had a 1957 Panhead years ago. I wished I had it today. But I ride the next best thing, a 2020 Road King.
You have a very special bike !! Don't ever get rid of it !! I'm only into your video for 3 minutes and had to stop to write this. Can't wait to see the rest. Wish I could see the bike in person......and even be able to ride it. I have a 1983 FXRT shovelhead I just gave to my son, so know what it's like to have something "" special "". Take care of it and enjoy. Thank you.
That is one excellent looking piece of Harley Davidson history, thanks for the video.
Hey brother , big ole thanks from backwoods Mississippi for sharing this! That is a true gem my friend!
That’s why people will eternally be smitten with Harley Davidsons. Classic and timeless. Beautiful motorcycle. Peace.
My grandpa has a 48 panhead azure blue FL fully restored, I'll be inheriting it some day 🙃
What a wonderful bike! To be able to point at a part and say with perfect confidence, “oh yeah, that part came out of the factory on THIS bike. I’d never sell it. My first Harley was a ‘57 Pan basket case that I kind of inherited in 1963. Still my favorite, 29 Harleys later I with I still had it.
in my opinion the most beautiful bike ever made, i love it.

My dream bike along with a ‘37 Knuckle’
That is one sweet ass bike. I have been starting to look for a '48 Panhead to buy and restore. You did an incredible job. I had to roll it back just to hear that engine one more time.
Thanks for showing us that beauty
Hey there Joe , as usual P - R - I - M - O ride ....... You are becoming an historian a n d caretaker of vintage Harley - Davidsons. i am selling off a 2002 Electra Glide for a future purchase of an older Harley . I like the new stuff but am not impressed at all with how they feel and sound. People as nice and sincere as yourself have inspired me to own and become a caretaker of a sweetheart of an FL and ,yes, it is as good as it gets for a 1948. Thank you for taking the time to show it off . I LOVE IT !! AWESOME .......
Dude you are so very lucky to have that hog .Man it's bad to the bone .And it sounds like it wants to go for a spin around the hood. Awesome ,stay safe ride forever.
Beauty of a bike. Around 1988 I purchased a 1981 AMF FLH off a guy who had an all original 48 with a side car. Blue. In my opinion , beautiful shape. He was getting ready to tear it down & re-do it. (that is why he sold me the FLH = needed the $$$) I would of left it as is. The guy was a finnatic (I mean that in a good way). As we completed the transaction, it started drizzling & he was complaining because I was going to ride the FLH home in the rain.
Kudos to you for acknowledging the original owner...Benny on the mudflap...beautiful machine!
That's a beautiful Panhead I had a boyfriend a while back he had a 51 Panhead it's not stolen
I absolutely love the old knuckleheads, panheads and even shovelheads because I'm a nostalgia nut. I wish to hell Harley would pick a 40's model, tool up and manufacture new reproductions of them.

This is the nicest looking pan I ever saw. It looks like it just rolled out of HD dealership in 1948.

They should Never stop build this type of bike , when one thing is good why to change ? Classic mate
That's one sweet a$$$ bike. It looks beautiful and sounds great. I have a 1953 panhead that's about 90 percent original and the same color red. It's starting to show her age and be riding her since 1996. Keep her up right and ride safely and keep your knees in the breeze.🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🤟🤟
Its a beautiful thing ... Every man wants a Pan.
Beautiful bike man 👍🏾
She’s a beauty ! I love Pans
My dream bike! I was born in '48. I've owned a ; 1967, 1955 and a 1949...but I've always wanted a '48 Panhead, I'd even take one with the side shifter and leave it that way.

We could just start throwing numbers out there 😂 I'm gonna guess around 40 to 50 grand. Talk about period correct and all original, that's why she's so expensive
No leaks? Always thought mine was suppose to leak, always has since new in 49. Speedometer and surroundings suppose to be painted red? Mine is all chrome but not sure if that was just an option.

I want this bike
No leaks? If that bike isn't leaking oil, something's wrong. Panheads had oiled chains, they're supposed to leak oil.
I'm I wrong the cylinders look to be silver 48 is the only year the cylinders were black from the factory
