1946 Dodge Truck - Build It, Drive it! Bad Hombre Garage Episode 74

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this episode I pulled a bunch of footage out of the archives and put together this build and adventure road trip video. It's all about my bro's 1946 Dodge pickup that I build several years ago. It's still out there tearing up the streets, so leave me a comment and let me know what you think or if you want to see more!

In 1978 I bought a '46 dodge pick up in New Mexico and my girlfriend and I drove it to Boston. Ran good the whole way and then some. What a memory and time.

Thank you for filming this truck build. I’m doing a 40 myself and was puzzled on the floor as it seems the kit I have makes the 350 sit high. So now I know what I have to do.

Hey Hombre. Don't worry, I've been subscribed for a long time. As you know, I have the 1954 Dodge Fargo so I loved that Dodge as well. But when it comes right down to it, I love all the old trucks and cars. Thanks for sharing. 🍁👍👍

Oh man, I don’t remember. I built that truck about 8 years ago. It is a repro built for a ‘32 Ford. I think I bought the standard size for a ‘32, but if I had bought the short style I think I could’ve mounted the radiator straight up and down instead of at an angle.

@@dougbrown8331 ha, that’s true. I have a friend that drives around an old Chevy truck that is powered by an LS motor he literally found lying on the side of the highway! Poor boys have poor ways, you know? Sounds like you have some really cool Mopar projects coming along. I seriously would have liked to build this Dodge on a late model Dodge pickup drivetrain, I think it would have been cool like that. In a video I did a while back on a trip I took to the Bonneville Salt Flats, I showed off a friend’s Dodge that was set up like that. It came out well.
