I really enjoy watching your videos. These old vehicles were built quick, cheap, and were expendable. That they've lasted this long and can be restored to almost original condition is amazing. I wish people could see the skill, time, and even love that goes into these restorations.

I like to think of it as "Resurrection". Bringing a ghostly vehicle back from the grave and reliving its value to the era.

Chrysler started replacing dodge engine in late 1944 to 1954 using car engine as they ran out of T214 engine, I still have the book story from Chrysler. They did not use car engine in 1942 as engine replacements.

Write to the Chrysler History Museum with your serial number (found on the frame and dash data tag). For a small fee they'll send you a copy of the "build card", which has the original engine serial number on it. The address can be found on the Dodge Power Wagon site.

How do you have time to do a restoration when that glitter boat is calling your name?

Says he’s not sure he could afford a remanufactured rear window & gate as he stands next to a $100,000 boat....
