@Norman WOW THAT THING SOUNDS AMAZING!!!!! I have a 1977 Alvarez model 5022 that is a barn find that amazingly survived the hot Michigan summers and really cold Michigan winters and is in amazingly great condition and sounds great.

I played a 39’ , small body when I was a kid for a short time. I learned the difference then of guitars that made you a better player right away. I think that guitar had something to say but it went back to its owner too soon.

Interesting that Carl gave John Fogerty guitar lessons, I noticed John's playing did go through an improved stage in the early 2000's, this accounts for it! Nice fella
