1932 Bob Causer - More Beautiful Than Ever (Dick Robertson, vocal)
Музыка
This and the flip side “You'll Get By (With The Twinkle In Your Eye)” ( • 1932 Bob Causer - You'... ) are performed by the regular ARC Studio Orchestra and label-credited to ‘Bob Causer.’ Though New York State arranger-bandleader Causer is not known to have released any recordings of his own, that name was frequently used as a pseudonym on various ARC issues, many of them led by Freddy Martin.
Transferred from 78rpm Perfect 15692 (also issued on other ARC labels) - More Beautiful Than Ever (Washington-Young) by Bob Causer and His Cornellians, vocal by Dick Robertson, recorded in NYC October 27, 1932 .

Thank you for sharing this excellent post. I love it.
I love songs from ASCAP publisher members, such as the Famous Music Corporation and the Paramount Music Corporation.
My favorite type of thirties band music..with apologies to the later thirties swing and jazz bands...this is one of the domimant, though oft-put down societ bands..
Delightful
someone posted a fragment of this song before... they didn't know who it was or the name of the tune.... now I know, but where was this post?! LOL
Most beautiful here is Bunny's muted solo, however.
Funny, it sounds like the music we hear in the movies about...gangsters and especially the mafia! Lol
What is "ARC"?

No, it stands for American Record Corporation, the parent company behind several record labels of the day, including Brunswick, Banner, Perfect, Melotone, and Paramount. They were bought by CBS in 1938 to form present-day Columbia Records.
