Just seen one of these on ebay, looks & sounds amazing! It says "old lacquer stripped, ultrasonically cleaned, polished, then over-all silver plated and a Gold Wash applied to the Bell" Would this change the sound much? Don't know too much about finishes. I'm really tempted :)
