They can be found from time to time, but they require deep pockets. Good luck with the search for one.

About 8 years ago I purchased the 1894 22MAG and a 22LR both new old stock. They are dandys still haven’t shot the 22LR. I have a scope on the 22MAG And boy does it shoot lights out. I just purchased two bricks ouch ammo is not getting any cheaper over 30 cents a round for good CCI small game 22MAG. Fabulous lever rifle and good ammunition go hand in hand!

I really like short magazine M.94s and that is a fine one. I'm in the market for a .22 RF lever rifle and can't decide on a Browning, a Marlin 39 carbine, or one of the new Winchester Rangers. Just as you, I've found the old 99 doesn't pull away from your shoulder like the hammer fired rifles when working the lever. Good video, thanks for posting.

I am not familiar with the Winchester Ranger. I am fortunate enough to have what I consider to be the very best 22 lever ever made , and that is the Marlin 1897 Cowboy. But was only made for one year. I also have the Browning lever and like it a lot also. Thank you for watching.

Don't have a win 94 centerfire anymore, but love my 9422 and 9422M!

That video was shot last August. It has been snowing for several days now with night time temps around zero. So much for the sunny south, huh? Always good to hear from Alaska. Stay warm up there.

Another great video, hope y’all did ok through this recent cold spell. Ive got two model 94’s, my 1970’s model (my Dad bought it for me when I was 12 or 13 and I killed my first deer with it) and my deceased uncles mid 1940’s model. I’d love to have the 9422 or 9422m. I’ve thought about settling for a Henry in 22 magnum, it sure would be handy around home, but it ain’t a Winchester.

Those two rifles of my Brothers are truly nice. My 94 30-30 is a 70’s model, but very nice. I have never owned a 94 22 myself. Just one of several regrets!! But I do have a Marlin 97 Cowboy 22, with a 24 inch octagon barrel, out fitted with both open sights and tang sights. I personally think it is the best, and best looking, and best handling 22 ever made. But you have to like the Winchesters!!!!!! Keep on using those fine rifles of yours. Dennis

@@bullseyedixon5660 you are right of course. It is not a Winchester. It is better than a Winchester. But even though it is vastly superior to the 9422, it is still not a Winchester. Just like the Marlin 1895’s, and the 336’s, as well as the Browning BLR,s are superior rifles to the 94, they are also not a Winchester. I suppose that in the world of lever action rifles the name Winchester will always ride the high country.

@@dennispritchardoutdoors7882I agree, it sure doesn’t have to be a Winchester, a number of better or really good ones out there. I’ve got my Dads model 99 in 300 Savage (which is incredible) and would never turn my nose up at a Marlin or a Browning in the right configuration.

@@randyhensley150actually to my way of thinking the Savage 99 is the very best lever action ever made. But I have a soft spot for all lever guns. And single shots. And flintlocks. I reckon I am just a gun nut.
