@@naztieutami6767 i don’t think so bc it could take a while to compose/write a song. but i believe it’s bc jb wrote four songs that all, except for this one, got rejected by jyp even though he barely listened to 5 seconds of it. i think he wrote this one for himself to maybe remind himself that he’s good enough? idon’t know this song too well and i don’t know the meaning behind it but this seems more plausible that what you wrote (sjsusj sorry idk if that sounded rude but it didn’t intend to be).

Not all sad songs that talk about break ups literally mean that the pain they are feeling is because of a situation like that. Sometimes expressing your pain in those ways is easier (I like to write songs and poems and sometimes is easier to explain yourself using situations like those). Also having in mind that JB compose this song after receiving harsh criticism from JYP and the whole unfair treatment the boys receive. My heart is hurting :(

The fact that this song is not for a girl, it's for himself, to prove himself that he is good songwriter, that he also has the touch... That it doesn't matter how many times he has been rejected, he can try over and over again. Congrats for sharing this 😍😭😍😭😍😭

most of the comments here saying he made this song for girl/ getting heartbroken after a breakup. All sad songs don't depict failed affairs. You can see the song making process of Rainy in Hyena On The Keyboard, episode 7 & 8. (here's the link: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iWtpuMqbcqeYiZs.html) JB had to make a song for this show, he showed 3 songs to JYP but JYP rejected them all after barely listening to 5 seconds of them. JB worked really hard then to make this fourth song that was finally approved by JYP. The emotions he's feeling in this live performance are the emotions he goes through as a songwriter/ singer who's trying his best to create something out of nothing. Talk about his talent, his soulful voice and his passionate performance. Because that's what this song consists.

yeah I don't understand why so many people comments that too. he literally write those lyrics from the random pictures that he took and took inspiration from them, and of course he gonna sing his heart out on stage like that because he's a singer and that's a performance.

Just thinking how lucky the person he meant in this song, seeing how JB's being deeply emotional while performing this. If this is made from first hand experience, i envy that person and why would that someone waste a gem. Jb is so precious. Crying

I found out about this video yesterday, and it broke my heart when he yelled because there, I knew, he was really suffering. I love this song though but I won't forget about this performance

I feel the pain when he screams. He feels emotional about the performance, I want to comfort you. I really don’t like to see them cry because it was so hurt to see them all crying. 😢

Wow! He looked very emotional and pent up with emotion. I feel it could be for many things he's facing. We all know how JYPE is with creative freedom. That could be a reason he was emotional. Or it could be about a past relationship? I don't know but it seems like a collective of emotions were coming out here for it just to be about a past relationship.

I just wanna give him a big hug. He does seem more happy these days though. Especially during the NBTM promotions. Now that he is starting on a new journey I wish the best for his future endeavors. I hope he reaches new heights of success in his career and gets all the happiness in his personal life as well.

Suffering feels sometimes so surreal, so numbing that you don’t even recognize yourself, and you don’t understand why it affects you so much. I wished I would have found that song back then when I went through the same thing. I would have felt less alone and understood. And the best bet you can make is time, time is everything. With time it will get better, this hole gets smaller and you find the light that leads you out of this endless darkness, I promise ❤️
