The amount of respect I have for him when he helped the trainees with injuries and encourages them to rest is just incredible! I dance and I've seen dozens of people get injuries for various reasons. It's no joke, and I'm glad he takes it seriously, gives them breaks, and is encouraging them to have healthy recovery habits.

He had back injury in 2017 and had to sit out from the promotion for clap. That's why he can relate to them. It's not just that he always reminds everyone to take care of themselves and stay healthy.

FACT THE BEST TEACHER!!

It's a 8 minute video, but I'd watched it for almost 1 hour because of this 6:18 as expected, Minghao will be Minghao. He's kinda strict but his voice won't allow him to be one.

The8 is so lovely. A good teacher~ I love him~ It would be awesome if Jun could make a guest appearance.

Minghao is really a good and kind person. He's mature that maybe is why he is somehow, philosophical.

It was so sad to hear that he hasn't went back home to celebrate new years for 5 yrs. Chinese new years is the major celebration where parents expect their children to come home but he couldn't...

Minghao is a strict and straight teacher, but he is very kind and takes care of his students well. Ahh, perfect combination..so cuteee

huaiwei mentioning the other trainee’s (sorry so many of them i only remember some name with my limited brain 😭) admiration towards minghao and even passed him a pen and paper so he can get an autograph why are you so supportive xiao lian 💕😂

追星來著太可愛了XDDDDDD 雖然沒有看節目，但是所有練習生真的都很辛苦＞＜小八除了教他們跳舞，也分享自己過來人的經驗，真的很溫暖~~~(五年沒回家過年看了真的很心疼…………

小八真的好認真教啊 又有耐心 舞蹈又跳的好。

I feel like lisa should learn from minghao. correct their mistakes one by one instead of saying, 'why cant you do it right?', 'she keeps messing up', will definitely reduce the trainees fear of dance lesson and be more productive as they wont waste time doing the same things over and over without getting it right

Try watching GD and BI mentoring😅 It's a yg thing and besides I think the language barrier is also a factor

I don't understand a word BUT this is the cutest thing..... watching Minghao teach the others techniques on their dancing and whatnot is so.......Idk.....heart warming and adorable and low-key kinda funny.... He's such an amazing dancer/teacher 💗💗💗

the8 is the type of teacher I would want to have. He has so much patience and he is really nice. No matter what time, he tries to help them however he can. I respect him so much

Of only they retained him on ywy season 2.. best one though, this is how you mentor trainees, strict but amiable, he deserve to be a mentor really.

Watching Hao mentoring unless you are a carat you will assume that this must be how SVT trained in their dance choreo but it's not. In the earlier days, Hoshi would literally say to the members that 'because of you our team will fail' and it's one thing he regretted. Hao probably knows if he goes Hoshi mode (strict level like during their predebut days and earlier days in SVT) it will not be good for the mental and emotional capacity of the trainees and he cannot bring the best in them. And given his personality, he probably doesn't want to leave a hurtful comment instead he would ask if this is the path you really wanna take to the trainees to let them reflect on their own and do a self-evaluation. P.S don't get me wrong the Hoshi is still strict but if you compared him in the early days it is totally a different Hoshi you will see.

i think hoshi only says that because he knows his limit with his members, he knows what they're going through, he connects with them in a deep level so he knows how harsh he could get and also how to control it instead but in this show, minghao does not know anything about the trainees except their names, i think he was careful because he knows some of the trainees might be having a hard time outside the show or something like that, and also when they guested on iland, hoshi showed the same manners as minghao, he did not pressure anyone and uplift the mood instead because the trainees were also put in pressure for days

minghao is such a nice mentor for real🥺 i love him so much🥺💙
