well, cannonbals where VERY inaccurate, so it was not very likely to actually hit many things, and even if it hits, it's overall just a flying ball made out of lead if your lucky, but howitzers where even more inaccurate

That’s why they marched in line formations. If it were deep formations it would cause some damage but in thin lines it was about as dangerous as musket balls

Several unit packs from TW Center and a combination of fife and drums I found on youtube and I mod by myself using Mod Manager. You can only play one fife and drum track at a time, unfortunately Empire does not allow to have march per side, I guess design limitations

No, unfortunately this is not possible because in Total War games Empire and Napoleon the pack file only has 4 files and are used by any nation, that's the reason overhaul mods use just drumming sounds for marches. If you upload let's say British Grenadiers march and you are playing British against French, both British and French will play British Grenadiers march. That's the reason I like "Seven Years War" game over Empire for this regard and this video was only made to show 18th century marches after some researching. Honestly when I play Empire Total War I use a "generic" drums sound instead of specific marches. Just download a fife & drum march mod from TW Center and replace the following files inside Pack File Manager: Mod > music > fieldmusicians > emp_cus_snare_march_01_v1.00_gme.wav , emp_cus_snare_march_02_v1.00_gme.wav , emp_cus_snare_march_03_v1.00_gme.wav , emp_cus_snare_march_04_v1.00_gme.wav . Ensure your files have the same name with wav format.

@4:15 Hungarian fusiliers. Also, notice how these armies were marching at that quick pace, instead of a normal pace. The Swedish should be the ones marching at quick pace; their famous "Gå På tactic.

I didn’t even notice how horribly the drummers were animated. Also, the US musician’s uniforms look nothing like that. In fact, American musicians (if not wearing civilian clothing) wore reverse colors of their regiment with a normal tricorn hat so they’d look kinda like a British infantryman.

No you can't. The problem is that the game plays the same file for any faction with drummers, so let's say you load a mp3 to Pack File Manager and replace the original one. The game will play this exact mp3 for any faction with drummers: France, Spain, Prussia, Great Britain, etc.

This was a custom marches I prepared for the video but you can only play one march at a time. Customizing a march is as simple as downloading your march from youtube in mp3 and upload the file using Pack File Manager

I just noticed in Napoleon total war they don't play music the only thing g they do is take their anger out on a drum but in empire they play real music

Get Darthmod, its practically essential for this game, apart from the other tons of improvements, in the darthmod launcher it has a option to let you change the marching song.

You may hate me if you like but my favourites are the french ones, indeed I was about to make a video containing only french marches, but I think this one contains a fair amount of interesting tunes of 18th century. Shame I couldn't include Ceddin Deden for the Ottoman faction as I couldnt realize ottomans lack of drummers in this game and others solve this adding ottoman units to Persia faction. I am a freak of this period of history and in addition to Prussia, France, Spain, Russia I love to read about the ottoman history.
