I’ve just been put on this and I can tell you categorically it has been a life saver. My panic attacks have stopped, my pain is gone. I can feel pain coming back as it wears off by I take half a pill twice a day. Once in morning and once in evening. I am quite happy to be on this for life, I know there are risks of addiction but to get rid of the pain I suffer without it, I accept that. Gladly have a very understanding Dr, but she’s only allowed to prescribe 14 pills every 2 weeks so there is no risk of abusing it. That’s enough for me to take as I need.

Try using when you are totally overwhelmed, not having a hard time for a while as it will go away but addiction to benzo will be difficult to deal with than anxiety itself

@@heatsingh2205 unfortunately I’m already dependent. I had a hard time coming off Valium and for months suffered with unbearable pain and panic attacks. Dr put me on clonazepam and duloxetine because of it. Only thing that makes me function normal is the clonazepam. I feel like I may have to just accept to be normal I might need this long term. It’s a scary thought but one I can’t cope without.

Whatever it is doing it is all in the weak minds of the consumer. Pfizer is snorting up their sleeves with Duper's Delight at the idiots who think this shit is doing something for them. I guess the mind really is a powerful thing and self deception works better than an actual medicine. Klonopin is to Valium what SAW DUST IS TO STEAK!! Klonipin is nothing but another pseudo ineffective franken drug to avoid prescribing actual EFFECTIVE anti anxiety meds like Xanax and Valium. I'm convinced that this shit is nothing but a PLACEBO. Maybe it was real at one time or maybe they are mixing placebo in with the real thing but what I got was a JOKE. A TYLENOL has more affect on me than this nonsense!! I don't understand what all these people are raving about. It's like being trapped in the "Emperor is Wearing No Clothes" fairy tale where I'm the only one who sees the truth. I'm not understanding why she can only prescribe 14 pills every 2 weeks. I buy mine cash at the pharmacy, they are cheap. I ended up paying a psychiatrist cash because the free clinic wouldn't give them to me. If your amount works that is great. If not do what you have to for your health.

I switched from Alprazolam to Clonazepam, because of longer half-life elimination, and it works great. Yes, it is addictive, especially if you use opioids, too, for other issues. I use the get 2mg clonazepam tablets, here in Europe its brand name is Rivotril. I love these new kind videos! Cheers!

Don't use 2mg, Alprazolam has much easier withdrawal effects at it standard dose and comes in XR formula, Clonazepam really should only be used for seizures and perhaps depression and HPPD, at the lowest dose. Giving the brand you gave and the dose you stated it sounds like you are buying them off the internet on a online pharmacy, make sure you split them into 4's or the withdrawal will be terrible.

I relate to this video in ways. It is a great medication for my overall nervosa and anxieties that impair me to do such things during everyday living. Panic is gone when I take my medication as prescribed, three, reasonably useful doses a day. So the drug is very effective for me and I have experienced alot of what you are talking about. I've had my day with Xanax, antidepressants and to me, as needed, daily, or as the doctor thinks works best for you, taking this drug basically relieves me of all the effects of having anxiety. Agoraphobia, zoning out, not being sociable or being able to concentrate. It also helps me sleep and a good nights rest is crucial. As far as side effects for me, I have none. It is the best drug of that class for my make up. I appreciate the stability it gives me. I may suffer from some kind of bi polar disorder and I can see in my own life, how it may help with my up's and down's. There is definitely a "leveling out" feeling when I have taken it. It usually works around the same as Valium as far as the length of helping out the symptoms of anxiety and such, but would definitely prefer and recommend taking this over a fast acting sedative such as lorazepam or alprazolam. appreciate your input, thanks for letting me tell mine. :) happy new year

Good @Chris Lemaster I'm glad its helping. It is an incredible medicine. I found the therapeutic benefits to be at the very top. I was prescribed clonazepam for 15 years. A very long time. But it saved my life. I really, really miss the therapeutic I received for panic attacks & high anxiety. NOTHING worked for me, besides the clonazepam. Nothing. And I went through a Lot of years doing trial and error. Mostly with the abhorrent antidepressants that made me sick. Doctors and Pharmacists can say all they want about the opioid epidemic, buy I truly, and I'm serious, I TRULY believe that Some antidepressant medicines, the many I've tried at least, are Worse!! Not only side effects being the weirdest, but I NEVER once saw a benefit that overpowered the side effects. I've tried tricyclic's, SSRI, SNRI & atypical's. Never MAOI. But- that's the thing; I'M NOT DEPRESSED. I've taken every test known- and it has Never been depression,...always anxiety.. but, those doctors man, they love trying these meds for Anxiety. See, for me, the type of anxiety/panic disorder I have , the SSRI's never phased it, never Even noticeably. Had HUGE success with clonazepam. I have to get back on it. I'm getting really bad lately. It's hard to find doctors that feel comfortable with benzodiazepines. But I'd rather take them then not. To quiet my racing thoughts in my mind, dramatically slow my racing heart (I always have a resting heart rate over 100) prevent panic attacks, gain confidence through comfortability in my own skin & even receive some antispasmodic benefit for my back, legs and arms & for degenerative arthritis. Yes, this medicine is a God send.

Sounds like you're very responsible. Most people can't use it long term without getting addicted. I'm in the same boat as you where sometimes I need to use it for one or a few days or week. Other times I can go weeks or months without considering taking it. It's been very helpful for the last 5 years, and in that time I've only needed to fill my prescription a handful of times.

@@k-drama_kpop_fan I stopped the Seroquel because it increases appetite and a craving for sweets. The only side-effect I've found with Clonazepam, is, of course drowsiness. When it's first started it can cause dizziness and it does slow down thinking. After a few weeks on it, those side-effects usually disappear. All Benzodiazapines are addicitve if taken too long so I would try an SSRI or SNRI first since they do help with anxiety. I found Paxil works the best for me and helps tremendously with anxiety and social phobia. If you do become addicted, it can take years to stop and stopping suddenly can be dangerous. So, my advice is to talk to your doctor or psychiatrist. You can also find out about Clonazepam if you click on this link which will bring you to Wikipedia. 14 years of Temazepam, its fantastic for sleep because it keeps working and I don't get any withdrawal effects at 20mg at night (and I like taking 10mg because I wake up easier) but its been the only thing which has let me sleep without laying for about 3-4 hours, it was such a nightmare. They only give me it monthly and they only dispense it every 2 weeks (which always creates confusion with the pharmacists and I gotta wait for them looking for where they put it despite it should of been in a safe giving its a controlled dispensary item.) I find 0.5mg of clonazepam helps with my HPPD like almost 100%, but I would rather be using an XR Alprazolam, was the least side effects, I was not getting any withdrawal effects taking it at 0.5mg in the mornings and I was using Temazepam at night, but I sometimes would need too take 2 doses so 1mg or 2mg XR Alprazolam would probably keep me fine all day and also it keeps the depression away, just does nothing for HPPD, same as Temazepam, infact I can wake up with colorful patterns above me, very vivid sometimes when I use Temazepam but I think its only when people abruptly wake me up.

Noone can answer that question online for you. That depends on an individual's risk for developing a SUD. You most certainly will develop a dependency to it. Physical and psychological. Severity will depend on the person like age weight comorbidities genetics. One thing I'm shocked to not hear talked about much here is the withdrawals are almost identical to alcohol withdrawal because benzos and alcohol work the exact same way on the GABAa receptor and can very much so be deadly in withdrawal as it can easily cause seizures and hallucinations in withdrawal. I think studys officially show that ⅔ of people that take clonazepam for more than 3 or 4 weeks will develop a dependency but I suspect it's more than that. So just be careful. Don't make the mistake in thinking addiction and dependency are the same thing. Their 2 different phenomenon.

But I'm quite curious about how you were able to get it prescribed considering everyone treats it like the devils Tylenol....

To be honest, if you're seeking it out based on other people's experiences, you should really do your research. Saying that people can't handle their shit without having ever taken this type of drug is naive. You should talk to your doctor about what you're experiencing. They may or may not refer you to a specialist like a psychiatrist if it's a behavioral disorder. They are equipped to understand what you're dealing with and how to treat it. There is no cure-all solution to all that you're experiencing. Psych drugs help manage symptoms of what you're dealing with, but they do not cure the cause. Many are extremely addictive, and aren't prescribed long term for that reason. In the rare case they are, they can alter your brain permanently as well as make it nearly impossible to come off of them. Imagine all your problems plus the worst imaginable withdrawals for months or years and that is what long term benzodiazapene use looks like. They stop working quickly and so the dose needs to be increased until it no longer can because there is a limit to what a Dr will prescribe. Then what do you do? If you're 22, you have your whole life ahead of you. I'd encourage you to try and cope with your issues as much as you can. Exercise, travel, hobbies, new experiences, taking care of loved ones etc. Talking to a therapist or psychiatrist is helpful since your friends and family can't be your therapist all the time. Drugs are a last resort and should be used as minimally as possible, otherwise they can really make life hard to enjoy.
