18 MILE LONG RUN IN THE CANYONS | BURNING CALORIES FOR BREAST CANCER
Slogged out an 18 mile long run on Friday through Peters Canyon. Sub 7 minute minute average on a pretty hilly loop. Feeling more and more fit everyday for my next ultra!
/ strava
I want this channel to be a place of inspiration and storytelling for everyone to listen to, whether it be about running or anything else! I am very new to this vlogging/editing videos thing, so I'm still trying to get better with all the little stuff, but please feel free to leave some constructive criticism in the comments or let me know what video you want to see next!

Awsome amazing
Can you do a video on running gear: clothes, Garmin watch and how you track, etc?
Looking forward to more videos from you soon! I love your edits and music. I want to get more into running, most I've ran is 4 miles and working to increase that. Can you include how to warm down after a run in your next vid? Thanks!

Any tips for helping your legs stay loose and feel good during runs? Also any tips for shin splints?
@elijahorr

consistently rolling out and band stretching after runs keeps my legs nice and loose! Be careful not to exacerbate the shin splints. Calf tightness can contribute to shin splints so make sure you're taking care of your entire leg not just the shin! Practice RICE: rest, ice, compression, elevation
Fellow Huntington Beach resident..... where is that burrito from? Lol
I want to ask question, do we need to change shoes for different speed? like easy run other shoes and fast run other shoes (sorry if you can't understand)

yeah, if I were doing a faster type run, (like a tempo) I would have flats on rather than trainers, but since I'm doing almost completely ultramarathon specific type training, I pretty much just use my trainers for every run
Elijah, Do wear The Brooks Ghost? Thank you & Happy Trails! : )
Do you bring water with you? When I run I usually sweat a lot especially when it’s sunny (up to 5 pounds)
What watch and shoes are you using?

Brookes ghosts and a Garmin forerunner 235!
Elijah, Can you please tell me what watch and running shoes you wore while running in this video? Thank you! And happy running and happy trails. : )

What’s your average heart rate for a run like this?

Depends on how I'm feeling that day haha. But it usually averages out to somewhere in the 160's for the entire run
Damn, i haven't reach that speed for 1mile... so shame xd

Dog, do you ever drink water? I feel like you need to include "NO WATER" at the end of every caption.
Are you...chewing gum? While running? Man.
