I love your little bookstore doodles. Currently reading "Blood and Ash" by Deborah Wilde and enjoying it so far. I decided about midway through your video to re-read "The Gloaming" by Kirsty Logan. Not sure what sparked that but I'll just go with it. You had exceptional restraint and it was lovely to see Ariel making a surprise appearance.

Westsider Books and Shakespeare & Co 68th are my local bookshops! I grew up in that part of Manhattan and obsessively went there or the B&N on 82nd whenever I had free time! Now I'm living in Europe so it is so comforting to see a piece of home in this video 🥰 thank you for sharing it! Love your channel

I remember when I went bookshopping with a particular friend. It was so fun, and I will love to do it again. I though am currently reading 8 books, but today I'll probably end up finishing The Nature of Witches. I am liking it so far. There is a certain intensity in the magic and the scenes involving a lot of magic that I absolutely love, and I think the author did a good job showing the different magics for different seasons. After this, I have lined up the Poetry of Elizabeth Barret Browning. Her Sonnets From the Portuguese is one of my favourite books of all time, and I am surprised I haven't read this selection of her poetry yet. I recently reread Sonnets From the Portuguese, and I just really feel like reading this right now.

Book Culture LIC! 💕 I adore that store. my two recommendations for the next time you're in NYC are both in Queens: Kew Willow Books, which I have to admit I haven't been to yet but looks so cozy, and Avoid the Day. Avoid the Day is teeeeeeeeny tiny and mostly carries used titles, but they opened during the pandemic and they're right beside the beach if you ever need a beach day read 🥰

Oh so many Bookshops 😍😍 They are a piece of Haven on earth ✨ I wish I could live in a Bookshop, every time I go bookshoping just the view makes me happy and clam 😍😍💕

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS VIDEO! The aesthetics😍😍 so many bookstores now added to my “go see” list. Currently reading: The Angel’s Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafon (loving it so far) I live near Bath, England and have just managed to wander through the doors of the new Topping & Company bookstore that is now in a gorgeous Grade 2 listed building and it’s BEAUTIFUL!! If I had more confidence, I would’ve totally filmed a tour around and taken maaaaany more pictures, but omg I’m soo going back. Definitely recommend if you’re ever in the area❤️❤️

When he said that in his city were only like three bookshops and only two places of tea I felt so related, like I'm from a middle/small city in Mexico and here we have like two bookshops and they have so little amount of books, like I can't believe we don't have any proper bookshop in the entire city!! AMAZING VIDEO, GREATINGS

The last time I went to NYC, I went into this little bookshop. I can't remember the name, but it was delightful! You walked down a couple of steps into this small, long room. Old, used books everywhere. On the shelves. Piled on the floor. It was glorious!!

I had a rough day and I literally saved this video as a treat for tonight. Of course coming home to my BOTM pick (Kaikeyi) and the new Emily St. John Mandel also helped. Only 8 minutes in to this video and I am happy with my choice. I love all of the books laid out like yummy treats. Just sitting here dancing to the music. I definitely approve of the song choices. Okay I'm sorry but what even is your editing? Just top tier gorgeous 😍 also my wallet would be crying so hard after visiting this many bookstores. I would have severe FOMO if I found a book I wanted at one of the earlier stores but then I would be mad having to carry around the bags all day

This was an endeavor! I went to New York maybe 4 years ago and I did the same thing where I went to as many book stores as I could I only went to 5 total and I was so exhausted. I have no idea how you were able to do 18 🤯 If this video existed back then, I probably would have checked out the ones you ended up liking.

I'm reading I'm special:and other lies we tell ourselves. I finally have books about chronic illness I felt like I needed books that I can relate to. When I saw the show special on Netflix and found out that he was q writer I had to get this because I also have cerebral palsy and his story was so relatable

I just bought Last Night at the Telegraph Club. It’s next on my TBR!!

Ahhh I also live in Missouri and relate. There’s only three bookstores that are a somewhat close distance away, and not much boba variety. Whenever I go on trips I take advantage and get boba everyday as well. XD

This video just makes me want to hop on a plane and go to the USA just for the bookstores! A great video as always

This looks so fun! I always wanted to go to Powell's Books when I was a college student in Oregon, but sadly it never worked out 😢

I live in the area of westside books which is the one that you didn't know the name of and haha it totally does have that pretentious air, I only go every so often when I'm walking to the Barnes and Noble. This made me excited to go check out some bookstores I haven't been to in the city! :)

I'm not alone in my social anxiety! lol. I would have felt the same at that cafe bookshop where everyone looked at you walking in, I would have been SO aware of if my shoes were squeaky and not tripping on my way to the books.
