#18 Art Of Fighting 1 Boss Hack (1/2): Mr. Karate playthrough.
A playthrough of Mr Karate in Yumeji's boss hack for AOF 1.
Mr Karate's moves:
Haoh-Ken: qcf + A
Hien-Shippuu Kyaku : hold db, f + B
Zanretsuken: f, b, f + C
Uppercut: f, d, df + A
Haoh-Shoh-Koh-Ken: f, hcf + A
AOF isn't a series I'm very fond of, but it is cool to finally play as the bosses. And at least the third one is good. The first one feels clunky and rather generic, which is due to the fact that it was made by the people who originally made the first Street Fighter. Mr. Big and Mr. Karate are incredibly antiquated bosses. Mr. Karate hits like a truck no matter what move he does, usually taking off at least a quarter of the opponent's health. His Haoh-Sho-Koh-Ken can defeat some character like King in one hit. It's very easy, with the right timing, to stunlock opponents with zanretsuken, and he seems to use a lot less spirit than most characters. He's very much an SNK boss. Still, playing like an overpowered Ryo means he's very easy and fun to use. Karate/Takuma is one of my favourite characters, so I really do recommend having a playthrough as them

Question: Do the bonus rounds do anything when you're playing as the bosses? Besides points i mean. Also, i feel like i've heard Micky's scream before but for the love of me i can't remember where.

Yep, they still improve the stats of the character, even when you're playing as a boss. I just always choose to improve the power bar when playing AOF1, I rarely bother to improve health.

How do unlock Mr Karate first lose a match after reaching Mr.Karate and he will be unlocked this only works for the AES
It's also the same for mr. Big after reaching mr. Big

Yes, though not in arcade mode, and only when you'd reached them in one-player first.

@@marshmallowdub It is convenient when it saves explaining setting up the emulator, and all the rest of it, to non-English speakers. I don't mind sharing the stuff I have but as soon as I have to act as a troubleshooter it just gets annoying.
