Maul is good average damage and has weapon range 4, which is maximum. I upgrade them if I get a good craft to elite version.

mostly I just buy mauls from charsi and then upgrade them to elite version if I get a good craft.

ridiculous maul man… after all those fkn crafts you deserve to get it… you just buy the mauls and u sorc tele around act 1 lookin for goblins to be able to do these maul crafts?

PD2 is a great mod, can def recommend giving it a shot. Actually makes crafting viable on other stuff than just caster amulets

@@Monarchond2some crafted rings and gloves can be nice in base d2, but yea weapon crafting is obsolete in base d2 when a weak rolled eth oath can beat anything you crafted.

The original is basic and classic.. but these mods keep the game interesting.. classic everyone has the same builds unless ur doing weird Tesla-dins or bear sorcs.. but this mod makes it difficult to do end game Ubers

What are you talking about? Crafting melee weapons is pretty much pointless in the original because eth is removed. Corruption crafting is a big innovation carried over from poe and crafted weapons need sockets to even be able to compete with the boring busted crap that runewords bring. A weak ass eth oath weapon is already better than any crafted weapon in vanilla d2 simply because it can be eth.
