You know you're a legend when award ceremony makes special VCR for the winner. No nominations, no voting whatsoever. Usually award ceremonies do this for "lifetime achievements" for living legends or to pay tribute for successful artist who had passed. And also Melon brought back this category because they know BTS deserve it. No one tell them to give it to BTS or to even bring it back after Psy won in 2013.

we been there. we goin through all things that showed on the screen. but looking it and thinking how other artists and those antis see it, made me all excited. i replayed that intro for many times

Exo was Hiding in the back, they came out as BTS was coming off the stage. Global Artist Was much more prestigious than artist of the year plus they won song of the year to.

The West is where all the hip hop, Rap and dance come from. You won the western you big time. They don’t let just anyone in. Bts is globa inside and outside of Korean. Every KPop wish for. That what Big Hit had in mind.
