Kpop was in chaos after this but welp Bangtan won again on MAMA 2016. Fighting with Bangtan during 2015-2017 was painful at the same time one of the happiest moment of my life 💜

Yoongi sat there clapping being like, "well done, maybe we'll get it next time,". He puts his hand in front of Namjoon's body to stop him from going to get the reward. Then he realises... Wait we're Bangtan.... He literally looked like a surprised kitten. He pointed at himself and looked at Namjoon with wide eyes, asking him if it was them.

I feel like this is the moment when they actually felt that they made it in the music industry because they won the most sought after prize in these award shows. It gave them validation that they're just as talented as EXO & all of the other amazing groups that came before n after them. The look of sheer shock was heatbreaking & beautiful at the same time. Hell, Look how long it took SHINee to win album of the year. They debuted in 2008 & didn't win until their 'Everybody' album came out in 2013, and we all know how amazingly talented they are. Now they surpassed the big three. And billboard amas and grammy only know kpop is BTS lol. They broke all stereotype and stigma that even group from small company can show that they are talented and deserve. Even ALL ARTIST FROM BIG THREE UNITED THEY CAN'T STILL BEAT WHAT BTS HAVE ALREADY ACHIEVE IN AMERICA AND A WHOLE WORLD. LOL.

And also one of the main reasons why BTS is so successful and loved and respected by so many is not just because they’re as talented as other groups, but they’re doing smth beyond kpop. Delivering and sharing their own stories and experiences through their music, giving hope and comfort to millions of people, urging them to love and speak themselves, and such. I think that’s truly incredible.💜
