what does that mean

I wonder if this was right when she first wrote it. You can really tell all of the wounds of the emotions she's portraying are fresh and bleeding. Her voice aches and sounds pained but whispy. This is climbing up my list of waiting room performances :)

I turn 17 in two days, and I'm not ready for it. Truthfully I didn't think I'd be here right now. Typing this out in my blacked out room, tears building up in my eyes. Teenage heartbreak is gonna be the death of me, it almost has been. But I know that if he saw me now, if we never got separated, he'd be so proud of me. How far I've come with my own music, my German classes that I decided to take in his honor, my sleepiness getting better. To those other teens with partners that you think are gonna be with you for the rest of your life, cherish them.
