The bad part is she is right. Bad coaches, teachers, doctors and police officers get a free pass to go some where else all of the time. Get to may complaints well lets just get them out of here so we don't sued. How can you sit at home and see something like this unfold years later when you knew this person should have been banned from their profession for ever at a minimum and you could have done something to stop them? How can some one do that and sleep good at night. In my opinion that makes you an accessory.

I was abused by two men at 17. I’m 22 now, yet I haven’t spoken out in a legal setting. I feel ashamed of myself seeing these other 17-year-old girls that have spoken out. I wish I had the strength to take my abusers to court, but unfortunately I am the only one that was affected by them. Nobody would ever believe me, so I never told. This is the only place that I can really say how I feel, because it will only get lost in these hundreds of comments. Hearing these girls helps me heal too. I just really wish I would’ve had the strength

When something like this happens, its hard to put into words the anger, loss, pain and fear. I hope tjis girl gets the correct help she needs to move forward in life, because i never did. I do not blame my parents i blame the sick FUCK! that did what he did. But in the end, it is what it is, this girl is stronger then i will ever be. So thank you to all that came forward. A female doctor would've reduced the risk of abuse. However, women can abuse too. Stricter pre employment screening and better reporting procedures would have stopped him sooner. Also the willingness to believe the victims and report would've made it more uncomfortable for Nassar to continue his perversion.

brenthunter16 ... I totally agree... anyone strong enough to stand up to child abusers is a hero. To stand in court facing your own abuser...brave and stoic too. Far above any of the pathetic trolls on here and always will be. It is good to find comments like yours, they make a huge difference to people who are sick of victim blaming/shaming. Your comment counteracts the baseless, unthinking, unfeeling comments of the enablers and sympathisers.

I know how you feel, how all of these survivors felt. I was abused many times from a toddler age, with my sacred places' which were not only violated, but were mutilated as well. When I tried to tell my mother, she scorned me and called me a liar, which destroyed my trust in her, from then on. I have suffered before there was a voice anywhere. Then, when I had my own children later on, being older and wiser, I fiercely, sacrificially, and successfully made sure that my children were saved from such an "Evil" disintegration of a human's place in this world, because, as I know so very well, most victims really don't want a place in it. And I wanted my children to have confidence, trust, and hope, unlike survivors who so often, no longer have those Within them. The road is long, and the best thing you can do?... trust yourself. If you know it is wrong, then you have already proven yourself good, and honorable. And Yes, When victims become Survivors,... They change the world. Remember Love if it is the last thing you want to cherish in this world, this time, and this place. Because those who do not have Love, or desire protection or Respect for the Unity of hearts and humanity in this world? Those are the ones who do not have a place in it. The culture of silence is over.

He was where he always is. There were so many signs..many of them came forward and complained. Did we as a society listened to them? Nobody believed them. The police did not, even some of their parents did not. This man could have been stopped in the 90's. There were 8 times few brave girls came forward and tried to bring him to justice. What did we do? We as a society, as a country let these girls down.

We are not however, discussing you or your issues here, but commenting regarding an individual who abused over 250 children that we know of .CHILDREN. With the sheer number of accounts,I hardly feel that we need be concerned that he was railroaded. Seems your free speech is alive and well and you choose to use it to attack the most vulnerable in society and support one of the most deplorable .So probably is best that you maintain the subterfuge there, mikelopia..sounds like a disease so perhaps it is fitting that you chose those to identify yourself in this way
