5:40 That's the MEMU train (Mainline Electrical Multiple Units) a local passenger train runs between two metrocities, whereas Mumbai local train is EMU trains (Electrical Multiple units) They runs between areas of Mumbai. A little extra insight on trains and local food service...America's Deloitte was contracted by Indian Rail to assess revenue opportunities and ever since then, IR has been trying to stop local food vendors and only sell their own services. Needless to say, IR food is scarce and less than impressive. Best method is to bring tiffin with some food.

Hi Ben. Great video. Just a thing to add, you couldn't find any chai vendor in your train is because you were in First Class. These chai vendors are not allowed in there. If you want to have that experience, try a ride in second class. You should definitely find them and a good adventure too. Love your videos.

That's not the case, if there is a pantry car in the train chai will be made available by railway itself. It must be the case that train does not have pantry car in it. Definitely local chai man is not allowed.

One advice - Please travel on First Class trains which have LHB coaches for better experience (if possible then, through Rajdhani, Duronto, Shatabdi(Executive Chair Class), New Tejas Rajdhani etc) and as far as local vendors are concerned, They are not allowed in First Class.

I love to see you exploring Chandigarh, Shimla and Manali. Parwanoo Timber trail, Kalka-Shimla toy train, Mall Road Shimla, Jakhu Temple (Shimla) through cable car (don't know started or not yet), Ridge area of Shimla, Nexus Elante Chandigarh(7th of Northern India and 10th largest mall of India, Sukhna Lake Chandigarh, Tikkartal Lake (if possible), Rock Garden and Rose Garden (Chandigarh) and Sector 17 plaza (famous market of Chandigarh). You can use good local Bus system of Chandigarh, prepaid smart bikes or Ola/Uber cab apps to travel within Chandigarh. Ola bike, ola auto and ola outstation is also available in Ola app.

Btw there's no need to get nervous! It happens in Indian trains like they can even arrive 20 mins before departure

Take a Ride in 12034 Kanpur shatabdi from New Delhi to Kanpur. That is one of the most clean trains of Indian railways. Kanpur City is also known as Manchester of the East. It is famous for leather industry and also delicious non vegetarian food.

You always don’t need to got to New delhi railway station if you are going to Haryana and Rajasthan side. You can even board the same trains from Delhi cantt or gurgaon Railway station. Delhi cantt is near to the Airport, all the train have stop at this Railway station.

Vande Bharat isn't fastest. It is not allowed to run more than 130 kmph while Gatiman can run upto 150.

I usually take a taxi in between Jaipur and Delhi. I pay around 3000 RS each trip and its like 4 hours
