16000 ROUNDS LATER- STACCATO XC REVIEW LONG TERM UPDATE- MOST RELIABLE 2011 ?
Спорт
In this video we take a look at how the Staccato XC has held up over the past few years and 16,000 rounds or so. The Staccato XC has been a workhorse for us and seen a lot of use, from USPSA and 3 Gun matches, to Concealed carry, to Dryfire, to test fitting holsters.
Given the high expense of this gun, we wanted to give an update on how well the staccato xc reliability has been, how the finish has held up, what sort of wear is expected, and whether or not it is worth the price tag long term.
Spoiler alert:
We still think this is one of the best pistols out there for 3 gun, the tactical games, and even concealed carry with the right holster. The Speed, Accuracy, and durability of the Staccato XC have been outstanding. This Truly is one of our all time favorite guns.

Well said! I agree😂
Lmao I legitimately laughed out loud at the Yankee Marshal part.
THE review I was looking for. Thank you.
Watched the original XC video and nice to see a follow up after so many rds through it and hard use. Appreciate the sense of humor as well. I have been saying that the XC is the best bang for your buck 2011.
Really appreciate the update video, love the XC and the hammer holsters. Keep up the good work.
Awesome video man. I’ve had my XC for 3 months and love it.
Perfect review, dream gun, and personality on point lol subbed, all alerts are on
Fun and informative video, thanks for doing it!
This is the first video of yours I have seen. Just the Yankee Marshall bit was enough for me to subscribe…turns out it’s a great video and I love the channel!
Thank you for making my day brother. Love how you roll. The finger at the end with the trigger pull gauge was absolutely priceless! On top of being extremely entertaining, your content was also very useful. Im going to check out your products. See you on the next one.
Great objective video about a gun that has so much press about it. No BS. Absolutely subscription earned

Great video . Thanks for this update
Loved the “trigger pull”. Just subbed.
Kick-ass video. Like your style. Looking forward to the next one.
I appreciate your writing and timing. I hope you're able to continue to make quality videos that you have fun with.
I’ve been watching a crazy amount of videos about the XC which then made me go buy one. This video helps me out a lot.

First time seeing one of your videos. I subscribed just for your response to the people who demanded a trigger pull reading and the last part of this video as well. The entire video was great. Classic
Love it. Honest reviews and a Beer. Cheers 🍻
Awesome vid
That was awesome, subscribed !
Great video. My P, duty carry, just broke 11,000 rounds since last November and it looks pretty similar to yours but runs smoother than ever. Love the sense of humor. Subbed.
You're awesome brother!! Keep up the content!
First time seeing this guy and I love him. Awesome content thank you...PS: I see what you did there with the trigger pull test 🤣
great info and love the subtle sense of humor and sarcasm lol very well done man
Solid review. Information on the trigger was very helpful.
Awesome review!!!!
Liked, subbed, commented. This video is so tastefully done. Good shoot man.
Just subscribed- love your wit and sense of humor! Really great stuff! keep up the good work!
Awesome content!
Awesome review, praise be the YT algorithm for delivering this to me. I was considering getting one since I like my Staccato P so much. One thing about the optic, I've found that in a lot of cases, blue just doesn't do the trick. I recommend VC3, it's the only thing short of red loctite that has actually worked. You just apply it to the screws, let it do its thing for 30 minutes then tighten it down.
Your honesty is so fucking reassuring and entertaining at the same time.
great vid!!!! super legit and knowledgeable!! subbed
Really enjoyed this video
Great video! detailed and to the point! Great information!
You is funny! Thank you for the birdie 😂. And thank you for the looong term review! I’ve been on the fence for this gun… maybe not any more!
Love your reviews!!!!
Thank you for this video! I've been waiting two years for my XC to get here...okay, it's been since October 14th, but your 16K review made me very happy with my $4K plus equipment purchase. It's going to make the rest of the wait worse, I fear.

My Wife is from Germany. Typical German. When The Rattle Snake bit my Wee Doggie, She marched up and picked up the dog right in front of the Snake and dared it to bite her while She was at it! Stout stuff those German Ladies! 8
I’m a Staccato XC 2011 lover. My shooting experience with this work of art has truly been elevated. I love the look, feel and function of this beautiful firearm. Liked, Commented, Subscribed, and hit the notification button/bell. 👍🏾 👍🏾

Great review.
Great video can’t wait for mine to come in
Great video. I want one even more now
Great video 👍🏻
Thanks for the video!
Great vid appreciate it definitely getting one soon
Got a sub just for the humor alone!
Really well done man great video! I have a P but have been really wanting an xc
Awesome video man! This is exactly what I was looking for to help justify buying such an expensive pistol. The way I see it, I’ll have it till I’m dead, so it’s worth it!
Excellent video.
First video I’ve seen from this channel - subscribed! Great balance of useful info with some dry humor to make it enjoyable 🍻
Haha solid content man! Keep it up. Loved that TLDR bit.
Great video, first time showing up in my feed. Thank you.
That’s an awesome video man
I love the video and your personality no bs just facts and light comedy
Dude I'm buying more of your holsters just because of your smart'ass sense of humor!!
I absolutely agree on the trigger weight. I've felt garbage 3lb and great 8lb triggers. It's about how readable and predictable the pull is unless someone has some sort of physical disability that makes opening a soda can difficult.

Very true. Light doesn't mean right. No creep, short take up, short over travel, short reset, each done properly makes a huge difference no matter the weight within reason. knifeMaker
I believe that this is my first comment, ever. You cracked me up. Great review and love the summation of the trigger pull. You’re my first and only subscribed 2a channel. Appreciate the honesty and humor.
Great video
Dude…. You’re friggin hilarious. Sub’d
Great review! 14:20 🤣
I definitely appreciate this video especially when properly giving a firearm the marathon run. Personally, I've been saving up for one as a self-gift for when I graduate the Police Academy. Knowing that this pistol is a worth it investment cements my goal. Thank you for sharing, I love the sarcasm/ realism.

Just make sure the 2.5lb trigger is approved for carry on your department before you order/purchase. Staccato will make yours with a 4.5lb, which may be better for duty carry.
Love the outro.
love your style man doing good work. love your products btw!

I cannot believe I haven't found these videos before! But, since I found how great the holsters are and I was fairly ignorant about holsters other than..duh you need one....I've been learning a lot. Sense of humor on these videos is awesome as well. I'm glad I came across Hammer Armament! Seriously, check out the other videos too, unless you already know all there is to know about this stuff. Hell, check it out even if you DO!

Thanks for the kind words!
As a guy from Texas i watched the whole video just to hear you cussing with that great accent. People would love you down here. I honestly have no idea where you’re from but I’m pretty sure if you heard me talking/cussing, you’d know exactly where I’m from. Or at least the general direction. Great info on top of the humor as well. Nicely done.
I went to a staccato day at my local range and they had a P with over 100k rounds. I got to shoot an XC and it is the nicest thing I’ve ever shot. I have an XL because I like the long barrel and iron sights
Good video, thank you. I decided a few months ago that a XC is going to be my next purchase and Dawson is just up the road from me. :)

I own several Staccatos the XC is my favorite. I have not put the number of rounds that he has nor have I had the few hiccups that he experienced so now I have a heads up if and when it happens. Thanks for the 8lb spring tip. Well done Sir. Respectfully Jeff Jones
This is on my next to buy list.
500 degrees Freedom. 😂😂😂 subbed brother. XC’s are magical
The Dawson optic screws strip so incredibly easy. I've ordered a bunch of Torx RMR/SRO screws from Jagerwerks. Paired with Vibra-TITE. I've never stripped one of them and I've never had one come loose. Much more surface area bit engagement on the screw head. Doesn't strip and I'm not twisting/snapping allen keys trying to break them loose. I use those Jagerwerks optic screws on all my Staccatos, Glocks and 1301T.

+1 on the screws and a big Plus ONE on the Vibra-TITE! ;
awesome video
I am shooting USPSA limited optics with a Staccato P. I am at 14k rounds and I log every time I shoot, every time I dry fire, every time I clean. I have changed the recoil spring twice and clean at least every 500 rounds. At around 9k rounds, I had a gunsmith break the pistol all the way down for a full cleaning and inspection. Like you, the reliability has been phenomenal. I wore out a magazine and ended up changing the springs in all of them. I also use an SRO and I have had spent casing stuck under the front lip of the optic. All in all, completely fantastic.
@hammerarmament

I’ve never had that issue with the SRO on the xc or the atlas, surprisingly.
Very nice, Dry and straight based on actual experience.
“… you don’t even have to unzip to count them all.” That’s a helluva thing to hear when you’re fast forwarding 😂. Thanks for taking the time to update people.
Nice work - very nice. I’ve had mine for 6 months. As an aside, it’s not my favorite as it must compete with an Atlas Artemis and three MPA guns for my time. But, your video is a breath of fresh air. Well done.
Great review bud, thanks 🤙🏽 sub
Love mine!
When AvE goes to the range. Love it.
Good stuff buddy. You still make the best Staccato holsters, with the best customer service.
Great job thank you
i too subjected myself to years of psychological torture at the hands of the Yankee Marshall... then i learned how to just stop clicking on his increasingly asinine videos.... ive been marshall free for 4 years now, and next to getting sober, its the single best thing ive done for my mental well being

I upgraded to an Atlas Athena, but I still miss my XC. This video has convinced me to buy another one.

Which one do you prefer between the two if you are not competing? Say range toy and home defense
@k1ngdomdefense404

Athena is for the range and competition, because the trigger is less than 2 LBS. I have used the XC as a EDC and I would use it for home defense. @@awokeone7997
Liked, followed, turned all notifications on. Nice video and loved the ending. Can't beat a good smart ass to make ya smile. Lol keep it up. Salute
Been shopping for a DS2011, didn't really want to spend the kind of $$ that the XC costs, but wanted to do some research. "Is it worth it?" and "Will it make be a better shooter?" Seems the answer to both questions is yes. I haven't found a reputable or respectable KZreadr yet that said it was not worth it or helped them shoot better. Thank you Brent for putting it in such a succinct manner. 2:30 "Yes, this gun is worth it." Long term update, reliability, and wear just means this pistol will be totally worth it. Thanks for the trigger pull! I'm hitting the enter key with my middle finger too. I watched your video twice, subscribed and liked it to help out.
your point at the end: SO. DAMN. TRUE!
Love the trigger pull guage lol
Thanks for the review, i agree with the competition problem, i don't see me shooting in open wiht that
I had the same optic plate issue with a poor man’s 4.25” Prodigy . My problems were more related to Cerakote in the threads and once I re-tapped the treads cleaning all that garbage out, my optic stopped flying off the firearm.
@redneckninja2539

How has the prodigy been for you ? The reviews have been all over the place. But man, when I held one it just felt so good in the hand
Good shit bro…I enjoyed it…I’ve been saying the right tolerances leave little room for error
Definitely a beautiful pistol. Wonderful shooting also.
Great video you put out a lot of useful information. I have P already and just ordered an XC can’t wait to get my hands on it.
That Yankee Marshall reference is HILARIOUS 😂
Thank you good job
