I call him "The Cue Ball Whisperer". The opening frame Ronnie played was one of his many masterpiece clearances. Such a delight to watch him. Thank you so much Cesar. :)

Notice how Hendry, and in fact in this match Everton, don’t talk about how great Ronnie is, like so many other commentators do. They focus on his shots. In other words, they illuminate the match, instead of just finding something easy to say. I know I’ve commented this before, but Hendry is carving out a real place for himself in the snooker world that might be remembered almost as well as his championships.

But they ignored Yan's Fluke Frame 3)...had he not got that, O'Sullivan would have had a chance for 3-0...earlier Ronnie had passed on a fluke, giving Yan a chance..."sportsmanship"!

A great match! Ronnie is just so sublime in full flow. Rooting for Yan for years now. His Masters win was special, and important that the young are up-and-coming. His match against Selby, incl. the longest frame ever, was amazing at the WC 2022. Hope to God that Yan is acquitted of the WST allegations. Would be a massive loss to the game, as big as losing Stephen Lee back in the day. Hope to all high that he is clear... So significant to have so many Chinese players implicated, especially given that snooker tournaments in China still can't go ahead due to the pandemic. Not good...

Oh man, I forgot about that and it just broke recently. Lol. Yea, let's hope he hasn't been corrupted.

I really thought it was good of Ronnie to give a little chat at the end. I think Ronnie sees a lot of himself in that young man, aggressive play and the left hand shots. Well done Ronnie, I just got a lot more respect for you.

You could understand some player ranked outside the top 100 throwing a game to keep the wolves from the door but Yan had already won a major tournament and no doubt he would've won a lot more. So for me he deserves a life time ban for the sheer greed.
