You say " it can be sharpened with stones" I hear " doesn't keep an edge well"

What you should've heard was 420J2, which is God awful blade steel. It's actually not even blade steel, but a steel commonly used in knife liners. There is something to be said for ease of sharpening in the field, especially for big bashers, but 420J2 is real garb-o-tron stuff. It's baffling why they didn't just use an equally cheap but far superior carbon steel since they covered it with grill paint anyway.

About the comment about Is angling and shooting a Live round instead of a blank... Think about it like this. Imagine putting that same mechanism inside of a box in the ground, a couple inches in the ground, instead Of a trip, wire haven't set up to where when you apply pressure to the top, it sets it off . .. Oh sucks, there goes my Brand new pair of Jordan's.

Considering the A1R changes design and form every time it is shown makes this item seem as though it has yet to be manufactured.

Bragging your gaiters can withstand King brown bites is nothing special. Most Australian snakes have very short fangs 3-5mm. Usually a good set of loose trousers will protect you from a bite. I don’t recall ever seeing anyone wear gaiters in Australia.

I was thinking the same. My Levi's have warded off a few rattlesnake bites over the years and while it scares the hell outta ya, changing your undies once in awhile is easier than putting on gators everytime.

The trigger trip alarms are actually worth it. Get the ones with 22 Ramset adapters though. I keep them around the livestock feed and koi ponds. One night the bear triggered one, then proceeded to trigger the rest on his way out. I don’t think that beat will be back.

Just watched another KZread video of three different men using bear spray and it didn’t stop the bear attack and all 3 died in 3 separate bear attacks. Give me a high powered weapon instead.

Only if you're going to eat the Bear 🐻 myself I prefer my fiance's rifle!!! It's a rifle chambered for 30-378 with a really powerful Leopold custom made 2&1.5×12.32 variable scope with expanded view capable zoom lenz 4 scope ring mounted to the barrel 6 shot capacity clip fed bull pup configuration slightly heavy barrel and Cochise thumbhole lamenated four wood stock and 2" thick recoil pad!!! I'm thinking it might be enough to down the big guy should we ever accidentally run into his territory but to tell you the truth id rather the Bear 🐻 won that particular episode since he or she was there first just doing what 🐻 Bear's 🧸 do!!!!

Just watched a video of an Alaskan pair of tourists that went Camping hiking in Grizzly territory. They used the bear spray but ended up being eaten alive. The Park rangers ended up shooting the big bear after tracking it to its den in order to retrieve the remaining body parts for burial. Really sad. I think I would just avoid Grizzly bears or Arctic polar bears. I think the bear spray is for smaller bears of the lower fifty or eastern Canada. Somehow I don’t think a spray is going to do much to a starving bear like a Polar Bear. The Siberian Russians always end up being a nice meal for the ones roaming in Siberia or for that matter the Siberian tigers.
