@@IM_PI When are people going to get the memo that when a house gets this bad, IT IS A SIGN OF MENTAL ILLNESS. Katarina even explains it herself, lazy people do not get to this level of uncleanliness. Sure they will have dishes in the sink and maybe let their trash overflow lol, and probably dont vaccuum often so that there are hairballs on their floor. that is laziness, not full blown insurmountable filth accumulation. That is a clear sign of mental illness

@@littletechn8175 Not necessarily. I have a friend who is the laziest SOB on the planet and his house is like that. The reason is simply that his mom waited on him hand and foot when growing up so now he has no motivation to clean up after himself, he just waits until somebody takes pity on him and cleans for him. I also know guys who rented together and since everyone thought it was beneath them to clean their house looked like a hoard dump. Plenty of frat houses look like that too. Some people are just this lazy.

Aurikatariina after watching your videos I had no idea I had depression. I took a look at my apartment and realized it was a mess, but not as bad as your other clients. I took initiative and decided to clean. I didn't want my depression to get a hold of me. When I was done my apartment looked 1 million times better than it was before. I felt so much better for watching your videos. I got a storage room just because the amount of stuff that I had was too overwhelming for me to handle. AWESOME Rebecca! Way to go! Your comment is from a month ago but just in case you are in a need of some encouragement, I'll tell you that your comment was an inspiration for me to keep up the work! Things do pile up so easily and there's always some reason why not to do anything about it right now. When the home is in a depressing state, you get anxious, ashamed and overwhelmed; even the smallest thing can feel either impossibly complicated to do or not even worth tackling! Sometimes we're our own worst enemy 😯. You've shown here that you can do it! Little by little THINGS DO GET BETTER. *We can all do it*, we can change things for the better one day at a time, one little space at a time 🥰 So satisfying! And even if we fall behind at times, we can get back up and keep going and gain that positive feeling back. What better time to do it than now. Thanks Rebecca and have a great day!

@@user-sn1qe6ki4g I work for myself. It's taken while to build a reputation and client base, but I've loved the journey. If you can be patient I suggest this. You will make much more money. And being there by yourself means one house will take longer, allowing for things like laundry, which can be time consuming, to be done as you're working. I don't just do cleanings for houses, I do home and pet services, also construction cleanup and office cleanings. So this can also include property management, like meeting with contractors, arranging lawn maintenence, dealing with guests and tenants etc, house sitting, vacation properties, cabinet and closet reorganization, pet sitting, dog(pet) walking, laundry, windows, regular cleanings, house seasonal opening and closing, and really so much more. I've even taken care of hens ☺ good luck!!

This is a sign of either deep clinical depression, or trauma. Get irritated all you like, but it really doesn’t help anyone. No-one _wants_ to live like this. It’s a slow descent, and then you’re in far too deep to dig yourself out, and too ill to face it. Everything feels like an unclimbable mountain, and deep shame often prevents people from seeking the help and support they desperately need.

It IS a neurological disorder and the meds I take make me more depressed. So, what is a person to do? I do have moments of “I want to clean everything right now” and I get started, but I leave it when I get tired or overwhelmed. Then it goes for months without doing anything but I do keep the dishes washed and the floors clean. Weird how the mind works.

Hoarding, depression, anxiety lack of self-esteem etc. I work in some cases like this and you can give a family a brand new home, fresh start and things just go back to the old ways if stays untreated. What you are doing is actually really amazing, giving people a chance to start again in a nice and clean environment. Not one should live in this situation and the change depends on the person who lives there really but when we do our part to help gives them that extra sense of self worth and love that may be the ignition to a change. Hope the person living in there be able to feel loved, worth and love her/himself too. ❤️

What beautiful wooden furniture and cute pets! I could feel a sense of peace like never before when you were done. What a relief it must have been! I learnt a lot here. I've had a lot of trouble keeping the floors clean because me and my cat shed a lot of hair and I can't wait to get that squeegee and that industrial cleaner for the stickiness my bathmats have left. thank you so much.

I too use dish soap to clean loads of things, it works so well and isn’t aggressive or dangerous! Keeping my fingers crossed for this family that this gave them a breather and they can be happier.

A lot of times i don’t have the energy to do anything, so i guess i just want to say thank you for giving me a small boost! Your positive personality helps as well! Much love from Sweden ❤️

@@rosemarysykes6178 thanks that someone thinks about us 🙈 I don't know if there are other people who will stand up, so do it with me 😇 I will speak for now for the people with Anxiety, Depression, Ptsd and ADHD: When I will clean my room it takes me the whole year 'cause once I clean one spot totally I forgot that I worked on a other spot one week ago, so it's a never ending story with ADHD but on some days I can't even get out of bed because my depression hugs my bed like a mother their child or my anxiety says that I can't nothing and can't clean up or even take care about my laundry... Pstd shows through childhood trauma and then I feel like a little child and simply don't know how to eat or drink and so my cleaning stopps 'till the day I can get out of my inner child 🙈 so yeah it isn't always bad behavior, some people have real issues and get judged for them because they don't have a clean space and it doesn't matter if we have mental health issues 🙈

I really don’t want to judge, I can be messy as well (not quite to this extent 😅), however I really hope that the people living in this home get whatever help and support they need. I would be lying if I said my jaw didn’t drop to the floor while seeing this 😬. Bless you for doing what you do girl! You are definitely a special person for doing all this work and being so super positive 💕
