SOMSAMORN´S PAD CHA PLA DUK | SPICY STIR FRIED FISH
In this episode from Bangkok you will meet the impressive Yoohanngoh family. Nopparit and Somsamorn have 16 children together, all of whom are professional Thai boxers. This is how father Nopparit managed to protect all his children from drug addiction, a danger in the poorer districts of Bangkok. To this day, the family trains daily in their home gym on a small river near the house. Many of her children already have children of their own, all still living on the same street where they grew up. In addition to the countless trophies, belts and prizes that adorn the living room of the family home, I was struck by the cohesion, joy and strength of this unique family.
I am grateful for this unforgettable day that I was allowed to spend with them. After shopping together at various markets in Bangkok, Mother Somsamorn shared with us the secrets of her delicious Pad Cha Pla Duk, a spicy Fish dish.
