They have separate art and sculpture in the Karnataka. Their art is unique in Karnataka. Unfortunately Tumkurians don't know. This is a very good start of a series of pertinent information on Kings and rulers from marginalized sections of society . As already informed by the learned professors in the video. It is true 90 % of all local chieftains under the vijaynagar rulers were people collectively recognized as "Holemadigas" who got the title Tawar, Nayaks and Singha (Lion). The chieftain rulers of Malvalli (Marehalli) were also from lower stratas Doddalingappa Nayaka and Chikkalingappa Nayaka. The other rulers was from Manganur. Each controlling around 24 villages each.

And as far as Nayakas are concerned, they were the Vijayanagara empire , not Vijayanagara empire made them Nayakas...... Even 100 years before Vijayanagara empire Hampi was ruled by A Nayaka dynasty. And in those days they were the kings and prime Kshatriyas not marginalized community....... Infact A valmilki Nayaka Gandugali Kumara rama , his nephews founded Vijayanagara Empire... The empire was By the Nayakas , of the Nayakas and for the Nayakas

@@themetanexus the word Nayak, Gowda, Patel are all titular positions awarded to important key functionaries in village administration . They became castes very recently. As a matter of fact the most recent creation is Shanbough by Hyderali saheb. Otherwise Talwar was the head of a village in Ganga till fall of vijaynagar empire.

Dear Friend, Kurunga Raja Kings story is incredible, however claim of "First Dalit King in India" is not true, during King Ashoka's time, before his time and after his time for about 1000 years numerous Paraiyars and other todays Scheduled caste Kings ruled various parts in India, especially in our South India, in Tamil Nadu, the Raja Raja Cholan and other Kingdoms repeatedly ruled by Paraiyar Kings (Dalit is not a respectable word to use, it is a politicized, obnoxious word, please use his native kudi name, he most probably a Paraiyar King). Can you post the Kurungum Raja's time period?.. According to your Tippu comments, it sounds like 16th, 17th century?, if that is the case, there were numerous, numerous Paraiyars or similar community Kings ruled India, will post the list later. Thanks for your work. Can someone Please post Kings real name and full name, Kurungu Raja is something like a nickname or alias!!, some literature references, Links etc.
