You damn right life is good brother!!
In my view, this rifle has made the history of the western epopee. A rifle with a great history!
With every shots rings a bell from a classier era. That rifle is a beautiful piece of art!
I can’t even begin to describe how much I enjoy hearing you talking about and demonstrating such beautiful pieces from your collection, Mr Hickok. Thanks so much, and keep up the good work, brother.
Ah. Now that's a sweet sound.
My favorite gun of all time!

Absolute beauty right here. Absolute badass here as well. Such a nice sound.
Love your program .... thanks for sharing this 150 yr. anniversary. I remember seeing these on the old Western movies with John Wayne as well as some of the later made westerns. Thanks For All You Do In Sharing The Knowledge and Passion. God's blessings to you and family
Have the same rifle my father used in the calvary in west Texas. Still shoots and in great shape.

Is that not the one a viewer gave you his father or grandfather wanted you to have it's a beautiful rifle either way

It’s also the anniversary of the 45-70 cartridge. And of course the 1873 Single Action Army. 1873 was a great year for Firearms.

I've got an 1889 Marlin in .44/40. I always preferred the side eject over the top eject. Love the rifle, shoots great.
Growing up through the 50s and 60s, every kid wanted one, AND a sixgun.. I was happy when Dad handed me his bolt action .22 rifle.
Democrats will ban it too as an assault rifle
Hickok45 the MVP and GOAT! 1ST COMMENT!😊😊😊
Hearing that rifle go off unlocked core memories from my past life 🤣
The sound of that old lever action Winchester……Love it !!!!!!
Winchester is like the Grandpa that never retired.
Now that is a real riffle they sure dont make them like that no more
A timeless rifle
"I happen to have one." made me chuckle.
The grandpa we all wish we had or needed! Mine was a lot like this guy! Just not as talkative!
They still work and work well. My uncle had an original he took deer hunting with us,until one day he let me use it and he had a 50/95. That was an awesome gun. Shot shotgun size shells. Both were very old,but were wonderful works of art.
Every time I think I've got the Hickok 45 impression down, I realize I'm just doing Fred Dalton Thompson
Something about lever action rifles...the way u load them, the way it works, I love them
Winchester is a classic weapon.
Ole hickok..always" happens to have one " 😁
I have a 1972 Winchester chambered in 30-30, it has 20 years on me but it's the only rifle I own without out a scope and it has yet to fail to shoot true since the day I got it. Hands down the best rifle I've ever bought at a steal for $100.
This guy got more accuracy than a sniper.
A work of art.
Love it! If Ian is gun Jesus, Hickok 45 has to be gun gramps. Life is good!
Can you imagine a rifle team firing on the battlefield. The ferocity of the noise and gun smoke.
This guy never gets old Literally
Dad had a 44/40. He has passed on. Mom has it now. Beautiful weapon.
Took a second to get there, but it arrived with authority. Love it!
for years I've been telling people Hickok is a LEGEND
Hickok teaching history ✅
150 years later they still work..... Wow, life is good indeed
And sound like Hellfire too! Damn that gun is beautiful!
He’s probably remembering his youth
The first owner is proud of you
Winchester's wife went coo coo nuts crazy.
Amazing how those pre 1900 guns are still shooting and some of my favorite rifles
That's 150 years of freedom in his hands there.
THAT'S EXACTLY THE LOAD AND RIFLE THAT THE "RIFLEMAN" CHUCK CONNORS USED! RIP CHUCK CONNORS! NICE show sir!

He used a Winchester '92 in .44-40.
My uncle had a 1895 Winchester. He just passed away 12 days ago. He was a Mustang Marine Vietnam veteran. He would shoot his guns at shooting competitions. After his diagnosis of dementia, his guns were sold a couple years later.
My grandfather has one. It was his Father's. Amazing gun
He never misses
This man was 28 when this rifle was released, time flies huh.
