I used to be into designer clothes and shoes, like Prada, D&G, Gucci, etc. Like a good 10+ yrs ago and what I realised that back than they were actually pretty good and fairly high quality and nice design, these days those brands are not as high quality as they used to be and the prices are just higher and higher. And as I see reps reached a quality that easily match the 'real' ones.

hey Snide for authentic luxury items like these are the prices cheaper in China then what you would pay in the US? Also is it true that it's easier to get authentic shoes over in China since they aren't as hyped over there then they are in the US?

It depends on taxes and strength of the currency. Most mainland Chinese consumers will go to Hong Kong to purchase luxury goods due to lower tax. You can switch countries on the websites to see.

I think Gucci wheels look fucking awful. Eye of the beholder etc. trying to convince a workmate to buy reps. Don't mind if he doesn't. He's not a snob but can't find what he likes. Barman on holiday loved my Off Whites. Told him they were reps/fakes. He actually looked disappointed! I had to laugh. Just shoes mate, just shoes.
