I’ve seen a couple of different guys doing several of these types of videos and each time I come away thinking that for most of my life I’ve been an absolute mug. We all know we pay for branding but to be confronted by just how much we over pay is scary. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to buy anything designer ever again.

To be fair to you, you’d be hard pressed to find anyone who hasn’t fallen for this tactic in their life. I know I have, even when I’m aware of the production process! It’s worth remembering why these things are sold at such a high price. The brands have been around for hundreds of years in some cases. They’ve spent billions on marketing, paying celebrities to endorse them, runway shows, sponsoring events, having a high street presence and so on….all with the aim of having the consumer blindly purchase their products. We’ve all been duped to believe this stuff’s high price point is warranted….its all very clever really.

Yeah factories will combine a variety of sizes to total the MOQ. For the same style/colour at least. Some even allow that!

Sure, just register via the canton fair website. Easy! I believe they also have a visa service (invitation letter) but I can’t speak on that

Correct - it’s a trade fair. You can pick up samples here occasionally, but typically on the last day as they don’t often bring multiples with them.
