Loved this episode! He nailed a lot of what I’ve been feeling and seeing in the industry over the last 2 years. Retail is on its way back in and those guys who only know how to sell on a deductible are going to struggle to make it. Being able to offer financing is going to be the big thing as well for a lot of homeowners, especially untill the election is over.
Amazing interview! Thank you Mike for everything.
Really enjoyed this interview. A lot of new insight on the industry.

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Yes Mapquest was the best.. then you had to print directions
I remember getting map quest print outs from my office in the morning so that I could get to all of the places I needed to go in a day

I also remember the first time I met someone that had GPS on their phone, I assumed it would cost thousands of dollars a month

You are too old! But yes, gps and phones in cars used to be huge luxury items!
I remember when eagleview was brand new.. actually came in to job interview with them here in WA, they were training us how to use Xbox controllers to measure the roof from satellite images.. was such a foreign idea back then
Printing off Mapquest was the start of our vacation lol
I remember getting Rand McNally printouts every morning even before mapquest became popular lol.

I would print map quest directions for jobs that was high tech lol.
Comment what do you think about today’s industry talk!
I remember all our trucks had the MAPSCO MAP BOOKS...you'd look up the street,it would take straight to the page & quadrant...boom! you knew where the roof was at
I have I did use Mapquest back in 2006😂😂
MapQuest was awesome!
Could not agree more about the w2 part. Only I would suggest take it a step further and apply it to your installers as well. Like this guy said, he has no idea how many crews his subs have, which means he probably has no idea about a lot of the things they are doing either, or how comfortably they are able to live on $150 per day, which is prob what they make. Am I wrong? I hope I am. But I bet I am not.
His goal is $2.5M for 2024, but he carried over $2M from 2023? Not sure why he's a guest, he seems like a joke.
