How do you know? A school mate of mine was killed like this back in the 80's. He and friends were playing ball in the streets. Dude rolled through hollering something, they hollered back. My buddy and friends jumped in the back of the pickup truck they were in, leaving, thinking that dude left, he ended up coming back around and shooting 10 times, one hitting my buddy in the forehead, killing him.
