Therefore, these 3 major telecom companies-Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea-have decided to increase the rate for calls and data.
They have planned to increase up to 10-25% across prepaid and postpaid plans.
The changes will be effective in July.
In this way, Jio increased the recharge charges last week.
Following this, Airtel has also announced an increase in its recharge charges.
Not only prepaid customers face new charges, but postpaid customers may also see an increase in their monthly charges under the new plans.
The common data plans from Airtel with a validity of 28 days are priced at Rs. 179 to Rs. 199.
The 84-day validity is priced at Rs. 455 to ₹ 509.
The one-year price, which was priced at Rs. 2999 to Rs. 3599, has increased.
You know what these increases were planned for before the 2024 election.
But these companies have delayed their announcement.
Therefore, as soon as the election was over, they changed their plan, and the government can't stop them because the internet is important for digital UPI payments and others.
We all know about BSNL.
