girl if I cut ALL the damage of my hair, im gonna end up bald
@NashBravo13
6 жыл бұрын
Haha same! I'm doing my own curly hair journey and the amount of damage I have on my head would basically make me bald lol. The big chop is good. But what I don't agree on is not trimming after you've cut your hair. You still want to maintain your hairs health by trimming every 3-4 months. Makes your hair grow faster! Just a tip :)

Trust me. I have damaged hair. It's bad lol. But i've been just trimming my hair and my hair has gotten longer. Idk I guess different things work for different people
@NashBravo13

Very true. You're right
1. get rid of hair ties with those metal bands, satin ones/scrunchies are very helpful 2. cut off damaged/split ends. Salon or home. 3. Dont trim when not needed. Don't do trims out of habit. Trims are to make sure you cut off all damage so youre left with all healthy hair. 4. no heat 5. Don't brush your hair, period. Wide toothed comb or finger detangling. Only when wet & conditioned 6. Buns! A really good protective style. 7. Massage your scalp, fingers or buy a electronic vibrating one 8. Drink water! Eat your veggies ! 9.Wear your bonnet!! Or switch to satin pillow cases !! 10. Don't wash your hair; try to shampoo less. Shampoo once a week 11. Learn how to braid ur own hair well!! Good protective style, lasts long encourages growth 12. Put olive oil in your hair 13.Deep condition & do oil treatments. key to hair growth and healthy hair is moisture 14.remove stress. stress is bad for all types of health. Especially for hair health 15.Dont bleach your hair. Bleach = major damage 16. Get enough sleep !!

Tip: Instead of using a shampoo with sulfates you can buy african black soap and use it as a shampoo. A 1 lb tub of the authentic stuff is $7 on amazon and it lasts for like a year!

Aaliyah Dailey how good is the African black soap on hair I never tried it
@aaliyahdailey31

Rockitty Lima It works really well for me. I dilute about 2 tbsp of it in 8 oz of water, let it dissolve, and its great. It lathers and cleans without stripping my hair. My hair is fine yet pretty thick, so Im not sure how it will work on thinner hair.

I really agree with cutting your ends because I have high porosity hair, very dry. Sometimes I forget but I just very carefully snip away the split see through parts of my ends and then twist up my hair. My hair stays for moisturized and much shinier. I telling y'all trim those damaged ends!

Divine gurl i think u got me. I dont wanna but i kinda think i'll have too. Its not much but a bit damaged from straightening ._.
Made complete sense, maybe cause I know what you mean. I try to sit and cut the ends of my hair individually lol. And you are so correct.... LADIES STOP CUTTING YOUR HAIR!!!! Keep on top of your ends, and you will be good. I never use heat on my hair, my vice is dying my hair, so I use anything I can to keep my hair hydrated. Thanks for the video lovely!! I agreed with everything you said! I follow these tips completely! The conditioner tip, is what I keep trying to tell everyone to do! No one believe me, and I hardly use shampoo. Buns are the best!! Especially a nice loose bun 🥰😍 love it 😍🥰. Thanks again sweety!!
Hey Lana, I was watching this video of yours at 11:33pm, I'm gonna make sure that your last tip will be my first one. You inspired me to really take care of my curls, I've gotten a undercut which I regret so much now after watching your video. I've been avoiding all heat for the last year and my curls have never looked better thanks to you. Most days when I go to school, my hair is usually down or in a pony tail, I'm gonna stop doing both now especially cause its slowly coming into winter. I can't to watch even more of your amazing videos. Thank you Lana, truely. #Curlyhairpower
Yesss Lana your videos are improving so much😭😭😭😍
All moms buy those hair ties! It doesn't matter if your hair is straight, curly, kinky, your mom probably bought those awful hair ties. I don't know why but they just do...

Your Number #2 explanation split end demo. Totally made sense. Beautiful girl with beautiful hair. That cares to share how she got there. Thanks sis!
So cut only the split ends? I lost like 5 inches at the salon the last time I went in for a trim and shape up. I complained that he took too much off. He missinterpreted what I wanted because he already had an idea of what he wanted to do.

I trip my own ends. Just get hair cutting scissors and trim your tips. I haven't gotten an actual hair cut in a couple of years. My hair is growing a lot faster then just getting a "trim" from the salon. I also recommend using coconut oil hair masks once a week.
@edwardskimoni

DynamicUnoTea I asked my friend best friend who is a beautician to trim only my split ends. And I showed her what (Needed) to come off which was less than half an inch. She ended up layering my curly hair . Looking in the mirror I was devastated she did what SHE Wanted to do. Be careful not to put total trust in a Beautician. Some can be scissor triggered and most of your hair will be gone when you walked in with a head full with length.

Thanks for tip #3!! Why trim when you're ALWAYS oiling and moisturizing your ends??? I don't! And #11i have been braiding myself for over a year and that helps a lot!
Lol #2 was a good example. And you're right! I always stay up late, then either I don't get enough sleep or if I'm off work I sleep half of the next day away. Anyways great video, first time I'm watching you and I'm definitely subscribing!

Awesome tips! My natural haircolour is brown level 4... and I want it blonde. I only get my roots highlighted every 3 months, and honestly I don't get split ends.
Yes the demonstration was very helpful thank you
hi, i love all your videos. i have a shoulder length curly hair, my length hardly grows and has never crossed shoulder length. how to increase my length and double my thickness? my hair was so thick and lenght was long. after delivery i lost it.
who started massaging their scalp while watching the rest of the video after she mentions this, just me?? :D
FYI Hemp Oil is amazing as well. I've used this on my hair numerous times. My hair just soaks it right up. Very quenching. :)
I dont have curly hair i have dead straight hair but these tips still apply and are so so helpful thankyou so much xx❤️ Your so beautiful
Please do more vlogs! Just love your personality ❤

Hi,can you wash your hair while having twists?
Hi Lana!!! I know a lot of people use olaplex after they dye their hair. Have you ever used it?
They have satin hair Bonnets at wal-mart for like 1.64 i bought two of them just recently. good thing is if you loose or damage them all it takes is a little loose change to get a new one.
HER hair looks sooooooooo Healthy....ohhhhh...LOVE it...just stunning!!
So happy I came across this!
This works so well thx
At 17:39, that's so funny. I watch videos to relax and there are so many nights when I should just go to bed, but stay up for like an hour more doing the same thing. ;)

Great advice...some were new
I dyed my hair a few days after my bday and it’s been 8 months that I’ve spent chopping my hair and twisting it. I hope my hair grows long.

Great Video!!! Love the comment @the end of the description box
I just cut my hair up to my sholders and i was feeling really confident about it until i saw your gorgeous hair D: I hope in 2 years or so my hair looks even half as good as yours
if you are going to use starightner use head Kandy it is brush that doesn't put off as much heat.
in the years you were growing you hair, did you straighten you hair at all ? Maybe once ? Or just completely get rid of heat
The example was helpful 😂💕

I need help with #2 I was born with really frizzy and thick hair you wont be able to imagine how puffy it is, so how can I tell if my hair has damaged ends
What state of curly hair is best to trim? Damp wet dry?? It's kinda difficult for me to see my ends when dry it all looks the same idk what to cut
@LanaSummer

+Evnoiia you're in luck! I just uploaded my hair cutting tutorial, it's on my channel now :) x
I have extremely curly hair and I notice that my hair grows out instead of down. It's super frustrating. Can I control that?
The split hair example totally made sense to me
So if you don’t brush, what do you do with your hair everyday?
I make all my hair wet put a lot of conditioner and start from the ends and I hear no tangles or bad sounds
I use picks they work really well
Thankyou

pls do a video on straightning curly hairs......like i m also having like urs but in any function i wanna to straighten my hair
My hair is fully damaged some parts are curly Nd straight but my hair was curly before any ideas of how My hair can be healthy Nd back to curls again
hey have you ever heard of invisibobbles. they are like plastic coiled. they are healthier than plain hair elastic that have no metal
I'm so tempted to get some hair dressing scissors to trim my own hair with england being in lockdown again.but scared I'd mess it up,did a fringe once and it was soooooo bad
If I don't brush my to two or three days it starts to form balls then I can't brush my hair I don't have to cut it all off again 😞
I got my hair straighten and I lost most of my curls. I cut some of the straight strands but my hair is already short. I’m currently doing twistouts and using flexi rods to get my curls back. Is there anything else I could do to bring my hair back? Is really as well. I deep condition and I just feel like there’s no results
