Not everybody, even in a developed and stable western society, has all of these things. I think it's unfair to state that people take them for granted. If they would, for example,take financial stability for granted, they wouldn't worry about their financial future. That's exactly what many people do and for good reason. Education and employment are double edged swords. Many people don't have the intellectual capacity to get a high paying job. No amount of oppurtunity or education can help if someone is simply not able to live up to the standards, which are requiered nowadays to get and keep a job, that pays the bills. You also forget to mention in this video that it's detrimental for people's health to work multiple jobs. Many people have to do that to make ends meet.Even a modest life can cost a fourtune in a developed country. The private housing market is a desaster.If you're saying, we live like kings and queens what exactly do you mean by this? That's true for 5 to 10% of the population.Health care? Yes, of course, if you have the resourses.And, please, don't tell people that every chronic illness is preventable by a healthy lifestyle. That's simply not true. Even people, who take good care of themselves get ill and die. As for clean air and water, the quality of the air was better in pre- industrial times ( the 200 years ago, you mentioned ).As for the water quality,it's better in some parts of the world but you if you travel to the UK for example you can't drink tap water. It stinks because it's heavily chlorated. Family and friends is a difficult one, too.Where do you get the knowledge from that this is a safe haven? Many people struggle in this part of their lifes. The freedom of speach? I'd be very careful to express my political views freely everywhere. That can cost you a lot of sympathies,especially if you don't side with the majority and have more extreme ideas. Let's also not forget that a lot of resourses can easily lead to too much freedom.That's difficult, because if you can live the life of your dreams, you are confronted with a lot of responsibility and work. What if you find out that there's nothing that really makes you happy because working just isn't your passion? Not to mention the amount of responsibility you have to make things work.Even the most talented and effective people complain in private moments about the work- load and responsibility that comes with the pursuing of one's dreams.

I don't take ALUX for granted. Thank you for being part of my life.

This has been the best Alux video ever!!!! As all the other video's strive for more and more and more, this one really puts things in perspective of how truly lucky one is to have all these items. The key phrase of look around the world, even here in the USA. Things are not as nice and many take that for granted, wanting just more and more. In the end, health, continues pain, and lack of physical well-being, robs one of all the joys of the toys and worldly gatherings.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Blessings! At 77 years young I am taking up flexibility and stretching and cutting back on the lifting.

Our wants are many our needs are few, left my career as per my man's request, stay at home mom as it's the best thing as was b-feeding each kid for 2.5 yrs straight and they're 2 yrs apart so all through my second pregnancy, got rid of my car so they'd get around on their own, definitely the odd woman out, ridiculous!
