Tokyo is an eclectic city, an incredible mix of imperial palaces, shrines, temples, but also avant-garde neighborhoods full of huge skyscrapers. Tokyo is a symbol of relaxation, thanks to the presence of the well-known Onsen, the typical thermal baths.
But at the same time it is also a dynamic city, full of themed bars and seemingly anonymous alleys, which in reality hide its truest soul. Not to mention the karaoke, pachinko and ubiquitous arcades.
In short, a city that never sleeps and, above all, with 1,000 facets. A city that can stun and baffle at first glance, so much so that, after "the first time", you either fall in love with it or hate it!

I am Japanese. There are some wrong information such as Tsukiji Fish market. The inner market moved to Toyosu area. So you can't see Tuna auction @ Tsukiji fish market anymore. Anyway, good video overall!!!

Depends on what you like. If you like shopping, then Shibuya, Ginza and Ahkihabara are for you. If you are into history, culture and architecture, I suggest you use your time and money in Kyoto and Osaka. Of course, if you have unlimited budget and time, you can go to both.

Visit also the new Toranomon Hills Station (especially the T-market) and the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower. If you come in Tokyo in 2024, you must to visit the new Azabudai Hills (which has buildings with very original architecture, which also has plenty of green spaces with, among other things, lots of fruit trees on the roofs which are accessible and also with the famous teamLab Borderless which will reopen in this complex in January 2024 and also lots of new stores and shopping centers as well as works of art and even a new shrine)

Tokyo, Tokyo. The city where I was born and lived for 35 years. I don't really want to go back, but there are a few things I would like to eat again. Monjayaki in Tsukishima, Yanagawa nabe in Asakusa, Fukagawa rice in Fukagawa. Funawa's sweet potato yokan. I will definitely eat one of them next time I visit.

They forgot to mention watch out for scammers who invite you to free beer and girls and then force you to pay thousands if not they threaten to beat you up. Mostly this happens in shinjuku so don’t follow anyone anywhere by your self. No matter what they offer you.
