It amazes me how the new cars in this video look so much like the 60s and 70s cars. Even the centipede you have listed here looks like a Peugeot that's been stretched

Random thought, that was on TV a couple days ago.

Thank you for my Saturday morning escape (drive down memory lane) with quite a few new experiences (of sorts).

This video is such fun to watch, so I watch it over and over!!!!

AMAZING AND FUN!! GREAT JOB MINDS EYE DESIGN. YOU GUYS KNOW HOW TO MAKE US WATCH!!

Finally I figured it out... number 7 is Homer Simpson’s car! And the Silver Fox reminds me of Speed Racer’s Mach 5. At least from the front.

The Chaparral 2J had a separate engine that drove the 2 exhaust fans in the rear of the car, that is what created the downforce that enabled it to generate over 1G cornering forces

Interesting, The same "fan assisted ground effect" tech Gordon Murray is using in his T 50 supercar & the banned Brabham F1 cars from the 70's - some cool cars here (&some crap ones too)

Wish they had added the purpose of the Ghost Car was to show off the newer safety features in the body design and how the windows and door locks worked . I believe if memory serves it had power windows and was show casing the inner workings of modern cars of the time

I THINK YOU WOULD NEED THE WHOLE DRIVEWAY TO PARK NUMBER 8 AND NO TELLING WHERE YOU WOULD PARK AT THE GROCERY STORE, LOL

The Aztec was gorgeous. It was a major part of the movie "Frankenstein Unbound," a must-see for car nuts, monster movie nuts, or both.

Anyboby recognized the "A" logo on the side of the OSI Silver Fox (9'45) ? I did in a blink. Must be because I'm french...Know, maybe someone could tell me about what they had to be smoking at Alpine's to mount the engine that way (10'02) . Heavy stuff for sure...

That ghost car cool as hell, remember seeing pics in old magazines. Shame they didn't have the LED lighting tech back then. A full boat hull with clear plexiglass or acrylic would be awesome too.

It is not that well known but the actual color of rubber is white so the tires being white that may have been the true color of a tire before they added dies or whatever to make them black.

You missed the main feature of the Chaparral 2J completely. Those skirts are to contain a partial vacuum created by that giant fan on the back, powered by a separate motor. It was outlawed quickly.

#15 and #11 are too cool love that small van (#15) sea roomy and practical as it only is 4 cyl good on gas but spacious maybe one could even use it as an RV and one only needs a screw driver to modify it blows my mind.. The one that's a bubble its way too cute live it but only going 28 mph is way too slow but love the fact it also is spacious but small and I'm sure great on gas . If I let they could create them to go at least 50mph and be safe aye? Poly carbonate windows and tinted for better safety..

Vista Cruisers were Oldsmobiles. Buick had the 'Estate Wagon' version. The video shows a Ford LTD.
